FAIL!!! If were talking in technical terms, mewtwo would beat lucario because lucario is fighting and mewtwo is phsycic, just throwing that out there.

SHouldn't be too much of a problem. You shouldn't try to make every character for beginners because it limits their design. And besides, Smash already has characters designed for beginners. Mario and Fox are arguably your beginner characters.

Cool. And I just thought of all this now, so... please hear me out...

If Pichu is summoned, he'll actually stay on the field and attack as if it were a fighter (using his Melee moveset). He can be attacked like other fighters, and the only way for him to leave is via KO. He can summoned multiple times in a match like other pokemon, but only 1 Pichu can be present at any given time.

I don't think Palutena is undeserving at all, I believe she would make a great choice for Smash, remember we haven't seen her in action or what she is capable of in Kid Icarus:Uprising, we don't know how she is going to handle so you really can't judge her based solely on Brawl.

Also her being Pit's Final Smash is pretty irrelevant, just look at Charizard for example, he was a Pokemon based on an item, regardless of this Sakurai overlooked it and decided to include him anyway, the same can happen to Palutena he Sakurai deemed it so.

The point is if Charizard was able to make a transition like, why can't Palutena do so as well? You're reasoning sounds preety biased since we have little to go by as far as the new Kid Icarus game goes.

I would however like to see Medusa as well, if she were to become an Adventure Mode boss than it would make Palutena or Magnus much more likely as well, I do prefer Medusa though since she's really the main antagonist of the series, at least it seems so looking at the trailer, Magnus? Well...I'm pretty neutral on him but another sword fighter that looks like (Jecht) from Final Fantasy would be pretty cool, though I'm expecting him to be an AT though.

Yeah, Tingle would probably be my second place of the most undeserving characters[behind Palutena]. I'd rather have 4 different Links in the game than have him...

Take it for what you will, but I'm hearing a rumor of a new Fire Emblem game possibly being in production. The person mentioning this has a valid source, but the person isn't sure about Fire Emblem being in production considering Paper Mario's development. One point worth noting is that he said a lot of people may not be happy with the direction the series would be going.

Again, take it with a grain of salt. But it'll give everyone something to discuss. The Mach Rider rumor is looking less likely as I discover more information. I'd cross that one off guys.

After Ivysaur became a playable character; my ideas on what can and cannot be a fighter went out the window.

Here is my moveset:

Suicune is one of the most iconic legendary Pokemon. It has spurred a movie, and even it’s own spot as #1 legendary in Pokemon Crystal. She is one of the handful of Pokemon in HG/SS who has their own storyline and plot that at it’s climax leads you into a dramatic battle. For the reasons above, I see Suicune as a forerunner of the Second Generation.

Speed: Close to the speed of Peach
Strength: Weaker than average.
Jump: Similar to Ganon’s in Melee
Type of Attacks: Her moves have are made up of half closer range, while other half have varying lengths (About as long as Mewtwo’s tail bair)

Her Moveset:

UpB – Tailwind sends a gust of wind that lift’s Suicune into the air. She can be lifted straight up, slightly to the left, or the right. When this move is used and an enemy is near they will be pushed back by the uplifting wind.

BasicB – Mist can be used up in three different spots on the field. Each spot is about the size of one and a half Bowsers. Mist’s effect will make those spots slippery to opponents, as well as strengthen any sort of Water/Ice type moves. If the opponent is hit with Hydro pump, or by the gust coming from tailwind, the “Iced ground will send the opponent sliding backwards. Blizzard will have a freezing effect that last’s longer.

Mist’s goal: With Blizzard, the longer your opponent is frozen, the more time you have to rack up his %. With Hydro pump your opponent will slide (possibly off the ledge) where you can use Dsmash or tailwind to keep them from recovering.

ForwardB - Hydro Pump is a simple power move. Suicune lacks strength behind her attacks, so this move is her saving grace. A forward blast of water hits your opponent, pretty simple. The move has decent knockback.

DownB – Blizzard another simple move, your opponent becomes frozen. It works in air as well as on ground.

One thing I hope they get rid of is things like Goldeen and Mr Resseti. They don"t ad anything and are a completely annoying nuisances.
