I think Arceus or even Regigigas would make great bosses, fighting Giratina in the distortion world would be ballin though.

Yea, if a Melee were to be re-released by Sakurai I would definetly expect it to have updated graphics in HD, possibly an extra feature or two. And most importantly; online play, yea I believe this may happen but it won't be anytime soon until long after Smash 4 has been released, maybe a few years at best. As for that spin-off idea, if you're talking about franchises competing against each other then I can probably see it happening, although franchises like Mario or Pokemon really don't need a boost of character since they are already big and popular, more like Fire Emblem and F-Zero, if Fire Emblem did indeed get more representation as far as games go, then I believe we would very much get to see either 3rd or possibly 4th rep, although I'm not sure if it would ever happen that way. :phone:
[/COLLAPSE]

So do you think the Wii U could support RE: Melee in HD despite being DLC?

And Smash is used to boost popularity of Nintendo games, yea, but what I meant for the spin off is that it wouldn't be to boost popularity, primarily, but to include characters that couldn't make it into the main game because those franchises have a large amount of spots. That's why I don't think it would actually happen. I meant the idea of it to be sort of like how Marvel vs Capcom made a Marvel vs Street Fighter.

[COLLAPSE=@Mario&Sonic]
Mewtwo may be a violent Pokemon, but it's not considered evil. Its involvement in Melee's 51st event is due to the fact that it utilized darkness-based attacks.
[/COLLAPSE]

But Mewtwo could still be view antagonistically with having to be evil. The movie however made Mewtwo's motives like Magneto's in XMen

As for 6 player capability, online, if not adjusted, would be sooo so laggy. Some stages would have to be big enough, creating more lag, to support 6 characters (or 12 IC's :awesome:) otherwise it'd be even more crowded than Fountain of Dreams :O

From what I know, Kyurem is a Dragon/Ice-type Pokemon, which has some sort of connection with Reshiram and Zekrom. It is also infamous for being quite hostile towards humans and other Pokemon, which may imply that it's very violent, and there's a theory that it's carnivorous.

Oddly, Kyurem's base stat total is 660, and it's somewhat inferior to Rayquaza, except for the slightly higher HP.
Carnivorous? What the heck? Black and White really is messed up.

Phantom Wings tried to create a 7-player Brawl code but the coding of Brawl would have to be rewritten globally (or have a bunch of other codes to enable other controllers and rewrite the CSS etc etc) to even establish such a feat. But it is possible.
Yea if a hacker can do it, i don't see why a programmer wouldn't be able to, I was referring to interwination between Wii-mote as Wii-U at the same time, meaning you can play with both at the same time.

You're thinking it would be as bad as Brawl's online. It won't be, even if Sakurai doesn't try because the Wii U generally has better online connection.

Have you played on Multi-Man Brawl? There's you and 5 other CPUs on Battlefield. There is still plenty of space. Yes, some stages would have to be a bit bigger but not by much. It won't be as big as New Pork City, probably a little bigger than Brawl's Final Destination to create enough space for 6 players while not being too big for singles play.

Also Fountain of Dreams is very small, it's not even a comparison.

Y'know what'd be cool? If you could play on a HUGE stage (like a small adventure mode level) online with other players. But such a mode would probably only work if it's 1 player per console.

HMMM. Here's a thought. Online co-op for 3DS version's single-player mode(s)?

Co-op is the best.
I'd like that. The 3DS version isn't designed for multiplayer experience but could still be online like you said.

Sometimes the Pokedex entries can be quite strange. For instance, it's said that wild Sneasel prey on Pidgey eggs.
We have always had those occasional entries, but from what I've seen of Black and White there are more creepy Pokémon that involve human death.

I know they won't be sold seperately, that's not what I'm asking. What I'm asking is if 3 other friends can sync their Wii U tablets with your console (like with the Wiimotes)?
Probably, but you can't have more than two Wii U tablets connected at once. So it's you and one friend else the the other friend uses a Wii Remote if the game they're playing allows it.

That's why I said if not adjusted, it would be laggy. It's not like I don't support 6 player fray, that would be fun, but I just imagine it to be pretty crowded since sometimes I feel crowded when playing with 4, but then again I like to play 1v1. In Multi Man Brawl/Melee, they were all after you so the fighting area is in concentrated on where you are which I think is the only reason it didnt make the stage seem small...

Hmm... y'know, The U pad could be given special functionality if there are two types of versus mode: Classic versus and U Versus.

Classic would be the same as 64, melee and brawl, with regular controls.

But U versus would implement some sort of new gameplay mechanic that involves the touch screen. And would only be playable using the U pad.

That way, if 3 friends bring their U pads and are able to connect to one console, each player could use that special functionality.

Would single cart local multi-player work for a Smash 3DS...? I think that'd be good.

STRANGELY, I think the 3DS version will TECHNICALLY have to have better online functionality than the Wii U version, lol.

Now you're thinking Hex, just like I mentioned before, the The Wii-U screen can be used, but I like thT idea for Classic alot.

Well yeah, but that's Brawl. It probably won't be as crowded if 6 players are implemented, Sakurai knows this.

If Temple returns it'd still be big enough to have your usual fun Taunt Parties while still enough room to run away.

Of course, this relies on the ability to sync 4 U pads simultaneously.

They had BETTER allow it. The console should be capable of syncing to 4, even if most people never use 4 at the same time.

I can't see Kyurem as a boss, the guy looks incomplete and he's pretty just a corpse of the original dragon. I think fighting Zekrom or Reshiram would be better

It better. If capcom can achieve quality online with the 3DS, Nintendo had better be able to. It's their hardware. XP
So if Street Fighter was able to easily do it then so can Nintendo right? I just hope it doesn't compare like Brawl did to Mario Kart Wii lol.. the laginess

I hope they at least add such an option, although I am having doubts about it being 4 Wii-U motes at the same time.

They shouldn't inhibit the option just because most people wouldn't be able to use it.

It's like creating scalable graphics. Most people won't be able to use the highest graphical setting because their computers aren't powerful enough, but the option still exists for the few who do have super powerful computers.

The option for 4 simultaneous U pads should be available for the few super rich groups of friends who exist.

Yep, but also helps in Nature breeding as an added effect.

Wow......I'm glad i won't be in my mid-20s playing a game made for teenagers :awesome:
You feel grown up for playing a rated M game like Halo? :awesome:

Well I'm not too worried about 6 players, since I'll be more focused on the 1v1 anyway. But I think it'd be more fun with 6 anyway. I've had thoughts on making a 4v4 mugen :p
