Not really, since the Wii MotionPlus isn't built for GameCube controllers.

I agree, and I'm willing to take it further. I think Mewtwo (compared to all SSB playable characters) should be heavier than everyone except Bowser and maybe Ganondorf.

Well Yoshi does carry around two people on his back, so I imagine he has a lot of weight. Plus he is pretty tall. I don't really have problems with Yoshi's weight, only characters like Snake and Charizard (who should be much shorter).

Well I don't see Mewtwo being super heavy.

Regarding Yoshi, he has never carried any heavyweights before. Ranking him at around Mario's weight is sensible enough for my tastes.

I have come to the Conclusion that Tecmo-Koei has the best chance of being a 3rd Party rep.i mean they:

-put a samus level in DOAD
-Made other m
-made Pokemon Conquest
-put Takamaru in SW3
-and put a samus and Link suit in Dynasty warriors

that puts them like a mile above most other 3rd parties.

after all,he has a rich history with Nintendo, from the NES era to now. and he certainly isn't an obscure character in the gaming scene, either.

on that note,if he gets in,it will be the same pattern as Snake and sonic,haha.

Something a company who has already had ties to Nintendo would be less frightened to say. Like Konami and Snake's designermanguy being friends with Sakurai. They already had an established connection.

just for a point of reference: bowser is human for 99% of his screentime; right at the end he becomes a T-Rex for some reason. yoshi's a realistic raptor thing, and the goombas are these big dudes in suits with tiny lizard heads. the worst offense was that the mushroom kingdom looked more like a dystopian cave-city than the cheery technicolor realm it ought to have been.

This is why I don't think Toad would be a good character for Sm4sh. He doesn't really have anything special or iconic about him, so it's hard to come up with a moveset.

berserker can definitely come up with a move set. Just look at berserker01 and click his signature for the move set.

Yeah... no.

He fights in Wario's Woods, he has his own unique stuff in spin-offs. He has spores. He can take notes from other various Toads as well. For example, Toads were trapped in a block to help get items. He could have moves based around that.

Oh, and his has a super jump that could work for his Up B. Not seeing it "hard" to make him unique at all.

Also, R.O.B. has far less to work with than Toad, but he was made to fight. I have a feeling Sakurai meant when he said "I couldn't see this character fighting" is that Toads aren't known for fighting. They're known for fleeing or helping out in the background. He thinks they're mostly cowards.

And it makes sense, since that's how they act in the games. Same reason as Animal Crosser, really.

I think there actually could be a chance for Sheriff. Sakurai has that whole WarioWare bias, right? Well, the WarioWare game given through the ambassador program(AKA the first one) has a Sheriff game. A full-fledged Sheriff game. Like Dr. Wario and Pyoro.

If I recall correctly, Kojima asked for Snake in Melee, which at the time couldn't be done, and it was SAKURAI that asked KOJIMA for Snake in Brawl, having remembered his previous request.

Tossing that out there. Also Toad is still boring.

Spores are unique and unused by a literal character. He uses them, not Peach.

Likewise, Dr. Mario had a lot to offer and is quite different from Mario, same with every close but Pichu.(who has some stronger electric attacks and hurts himself)

Toad's still meh to me. I don't hate him, but I don't like him either.

Toad doesn't seem like an incredibly special Newcomer in my opinion, I don't see him really getting the fans excited, though I do know some people are interested in him. I also don't see him being really special whatsoever in his moveset.

I just dislike most short characters, so adding more would be frustrating.
