Ganondorf isn't needed.

Ganon can come back as a Moblin. Easy. You know, his ORIGINAL design? I'd like to see more regular Ganon. Honestly, he was more intimidating anyway.

Ganon and Ganondorf are going to keep reappearing because they are the most interesting villain in the series. Vatti is cool, but he isn't all that interesting. The Skull Kid wasn't really a villain, but a puppet. Majora, while an interesting villain idea for a future Legend of Zelda title (taking place in the past) isn't the most developed character (yet). Zant was cool and all, but like Agahamin, he was just a one game Ganondorf puppet.
Demise is just a one game Ganondorf fill-in.

Personally, I would like to see Zant, Agahamin (I don't give a crap about the spelling), and especially Majora in future Legend of Zelda titles. Imagining a real Majora would be totally awesome. If Majora was a full fledged character that was deep, twisted, and evil, I would love to see him playable in a future smash bros title. But alas, that is a long away and only potential pipe dream.

There was also a timeline where Link was killed by Ganon. But he was weak enough to be sealed by the sages afterwords. So Ganon has killed link before.

Many ppl forget that an incarnation of link was killed before.

is this the one where it leads to a link to the past? or is this something else entirely?

Okay, I'll bite. What are we talking about?

I just saw the first part of the Palutena OVA, I will admit, it is a cute story, definitely my favorite of the OVAs so far. I could also get into more Goddess War bs, by discussing movesets but I don't feel like it. I find it weird, however, that they removed Part 2 of the Pit OVA instead of Part 1.

at below... what? wasn't it all in good fun?

at below... again... not if you know how to dance like the wolf.

@ Triple Dash
We're talking about various thing revolving around Ganondorf, the Zelda timeline, and possibly how this could potentially impact the smash bros franchise.
This will get ugly (looking at the past few pages it already has).

EDIT: I'm not a big Zelda fan. Not to mention, based on the history of this thread, Zelda discussions are up there with Pokemon and Mario.

lol yeah, Ganon killed link long ago, After link disrupted the timeline by stopping ganondorf in the future and warning zelda and the others(OOT) and after majora's mask, Ganon returned and was able to kill link but was sealed by the sages in his weakened form.

He returned officially in twilight princess, He wasn't as surprised to see link or intimidated since he has killed him before.

For those who don't know the first part to Palutena's OVA is now up.

I just finished watching it, and its probably the best of the Kid Icarus animated shorts yet. I am definitely looking forward to the second part. There was no fanservice like people were expecting, however, I do think this short will help Palutena gain more fans. It was the longest of all the shorts by far, stretching to nearly four minutes.

Bad neighborhood?
It's actually kinda scary in a vacant, quiet kind of way. I live in what could be considered one of the most rural areas of West Virginia, and there's just nothing out here. It's quiet when I go outside. Too quiet...

It doesn't help that we have some crazies living around here, but I'm ultimately just a big ol' wuss. Seriously, I'm afraid to go into my basement alone.

Fear of the dark I take it? Its very normal.

Long exposure in darkness can have ill side effects on the mind. Not talking about sleeping lol.

Meah, the last few pages were without me, thus automatically weren't as good. :smirk:

Still, the Zelda discussion has been pretty good and somewhat openly silly. :)

That is, of course, discounting anything from a certain someone who is always berating people about a certain minor character in the Zelda franchise aside. :awesome:

Oh, I'm afraid of the dark alright. Silly, but I have a lineage that's absolutely riddled with violent mental illness, so I seem to have received all the hand-me-down disorders that nobody wanted.

Like every type of parasomnia possible.

@John In every imaginable way. I seriously cannot sleep with my closet door open, as it's too dark in there and I'll just stare at it until I begin to have sleep-paralysis induced walking nightmares.

And with that cheerful bit of trivia, I take my leave.

The only fear I have is snake, specifically rattlesnakes, but only IRL. But hey, when you make one go crazy by almost stepping on one, black out for a minute, and come back to consciousness later (even without any bites or getting hurt) and you'd be afraid of that, too!

Speaking of which, that explains why I would never want a playable smash character who is a snake, unless they got a hot azzs!!! :chuckle:

I guess it's been a while since we've actually had a good Zelda discussion, I'm a bit shocked that that then.

Also I got bored so I went and made a Spoon topic on Gamefaqs. It'll be interesting to see how that goes.

Even if Palutena does not show any ability toward combat in Uprising or the second part to her OVA, she is still most likely going to become the most requested female newcomer for Smash 4.

I'm an Obsessive–compulsive, But I act perfectly normal. I don't open doors and close them again a certain amount of times. But I often get ravaged by my past memories that affect my mood ect, I can never stop thinking. I seem perfectly normal and acceptable to others, But they don't know the turmoil that goes on in my mind.

I actually diagnosed myself with OCD and later saw a doctor about what he thought, And I was right. My condition is sometimes beneficial as when I got a subject, I think rabidly about it and give an answer quickly.

I occasionally consider getting meds, But I don't like the thought of being one of those ppl that have to take them to be normal.

Hopefully, I did make it for fun. :awesome:

So far there's only been one post, and it's an off-topic troll.

Speak for yourself, I already got a few ideas for my moveset and some that help it's case for what I have so far.

Dixie Kong will likely be about as popular. If K. Rool is confirmed early on, expect Dixie Kong to get a lot of subsequent support, which will probably be larger in numbers than Paletuna. However, I think Paletuna will a have a lot fanboys, who will seem bigger than they are by screaming a lot on various forums/blogs/threads/sites/fanbases. :urg:

I wont be surprised, Its the most common disorder next to asthma. I even read the wiki on it just now and it sounds just like me. Not all of it mind you:p

Quote from wiki: OCD sufferers generally recognize their obsessions and compulsions as irrational, and may become further distressed by this realization.

That happened to me exactly, The rapid thinking never ends.

I concur with this. If K. Rool is one of the first newcomers revealed, the entire DK fanbase is going to rally behind Dixie Kong.

I can agree with this.

"Waits for Oasis to say that I'm one of those Silly fanboys."

Hey guys, the Duck Hunt Dog has a name. It's Mr. Peepers.

The opposite was true with Brawl. When Diddy Kong was revealed, Donkey Kong fans were divided. I see it a three-way near even split between Donkey Kong/Smash fans being satisfied with the Donkey Kong franchise playable characters, wanting Dixie Kong, and wanting K. Rool.

With these forthcoming smash bros games, though, if either King K. Rool or Dixie Kong are revealed, there's going to a madhouse supporting the other. That fanbase will be loud, active, huge, and all over the place. Imagine the Geno fanbase, but with the size of the pre-Brawl Diddy Kong fanbase. That is what you will (most likely) get. ;)

Also, is Mr. Peppers its' Japanese or localized name for the Duck Hunt Dog=???

Well, we don't know. We have to assume it's both English and Japanese. Like Samus, Mario, Pit, Link, etc.

And it's Peepers, not Peppers. Took me a while to get that myself...

Peepers sounds like a typical creepy dog name for a dog that is nothing more than a joke, lol! :troll: Talk about a perfect name...

Edit: This is pretty awesome. By the way, pretty much all of the characters in Project M have a few great tidbit ideas.

Wolf's new reflector (sending foes upward and forward at a 45 degree angle) seems like a perfect idea for combos, albeit I got a feeling that move could be scratched or completely altered in Smash 4/5. That is assuming Wolf returns, of course. I hope he will, albeit as a (at least slightly) more original character.

Ahhh!!!! Well, well, well.... Looks like Duck Hunt Dog does have a name after all... This means his detractors had just lost one of the reasons they loved to use against Duck Hunt Dog. He has a name and is now eligible for Smash. :troll:

Now it makes sense why General Pepper has his name not based on dogs... He looks like Duck Hunt Dog. I suggest General Pepper's hat as Duck Hunt Dog's Red Team color. :awesome:

No one really cares for Duck Hunt Dog. (And anyone who supports his inclusion has most likely been DIRECTLY influenced by you on this site)

Only reason you need to put up against DHD.
