Exactly. Characters like Raiden, Grey Fox, and Revolver Ocelot aren't anywhere near as important to the Metal Gear franchise as Snake (by Snake I mean both Solid Snake and Naked Snake/Big Boss). They also aren't as important to their franchise as Tails is to Sonic (and gaming) because there are much more important characters in the Metal Gear franchise than the Sonic series.

Also, Raiden is only in what=??? Three games (including Rising). Grey Fox is in 4 or 5, and Revolver Ocelot is in about half a dozen Metal Gear series games.

Tails, meanwhile, has been in a trillion different video games. Tails is also a playable character in dang near every Sonic game since his inception.

In the day, the Sanderson's are on the couch reacting to the match and what not, and at night the various toys would be cheering you on.

Since I think from that angle the glass doors would be visible, at night you should also be able to see the UFO flying around in the background... Maybe the Scurvy Splinter could fly around outside in the day?

I don't know if one could compare them like this. I mean, Sonic and Metal Gear are different franchises that work differently.
I think being the main character of one of 4 canon games in a series means more than being the eternal side kick and being main in some meaningless spin-offs...

Uuuuh... well, there's MG1, not sure if MG2 had him, but MGS DEFINITELY had him. MGS2, it had Olga Gurlukovich...

And, well, you got Ocelot himself, who I think has only been in two games. More if you count him going into the Liquid Ocelot frame of mind.

We are pretty much going to know everything pertaining to Uprising by the end of March. We will most likely be receiving the last OVA by the end of this week. We will have a lot to talk about in the coming weeks. I am really looking forward to finally having a solid grasp on the Kid Icarus series and its character prospects.
