Then why not just put Impa in to not worry about the designing part? Oh wait, it's because Sheik is so deserving to be in Smash and has a lot of character; so much, that she can't be succeeded by a character with an actual personality and could fix the Zelda/Sheik issue once and for all.
He probably figured out Brawl Pikachu is just evolved Melee Pichu. What happened to Pichu Fan?
![]()
Then what happened to Melee Pikachu?
![]()
HAte it when that happens. He fainted. And it was a Nuzlocke Run.
Tingle. Been in the same amount of games and helped even more often than Impa does, and has less chance of being a clone. Then you know whos left...

Sheik debuted in OoT and hasn't appeared since. If you want to go strictly off canon, Impa has more going for her than Sheik does. The only reason Sheik holds any water is because she's one of handful of Zelda's alter-egos.But impa also wasnt a very important character until ocarina of time.......
Nad it wasnt until recently when she finally got a more important spot again.
This works too.here's a solution for everybody.
forget impa altogether. drop sheik and replace with GROOSE.
Instead of Caeda you should put Krom because it seems this guy is gonna be the bomb in Japan for having one of the best know VA. (Tomokazu Sugita)
No, he didn't. Listen, Pikachu in SSB64 is the same Pikachu in Melee. However, it aged over time and grew weaker, whereas Melee Pichu started out very weak but eventually grew much stronger when it evolved in Brawl. However, Melee Pikachu weakened to the point whereaccording to the same theory, it evolved into raichu.
for those who are making move-sets you are reading too much into it....I'm sorry but don't you think it's a waste of time because I guarantee you Sakurai will never use your roster , yours and Sakurai movesets might have similarities but it will never be the same....or if you like doing too much stick to the B special moves and the final smash because these are the most predictable atleast....Standard Attacks for Lip!!!
This are courtesy of http://lati9s.deviantart.com/, but with some edits I did on some parts. Has even movesets for revamped Y.L, Isaac, Lucario, etc.
[Collapse= Lip's Standard Attacks]
A, A ,A: Lip slaps, first normally, then backhanded. Last hit makes her open her palm which releases an aura-like magic around it that creates a flower on head and also does quick and stabbing damage like Ganondorf's A-combo.
Forward Tilt: Lip thrusts her wand' blossom forward, and it scatters out a cloud of pollen, which causes a flower to sprout on a fighter's head.
Down Tilt: Lip lays a hand on the ground and a root bursts up to thrust at an opponent.
Up Tilt: Lip swipes her flat left hand up over herself, producing a pretty rainbow in the trail of the swipe. This move is deceptively powerful.
Dash Attack: Lip makes a rather awkward hop and swings her wand down as she does. She staggers slightly on one foot before normalizing. Pollen comes out from the wand again during this.
But sometimes she actually trips. If opponent gets caught during this, she "glomps" them and makes them trip too. /Cue adorable or awkward screenshot moments/
Forward Smash: Lip clutches her wand with both hands and winds it up with rotations of her wrists, building up a cloud of fairy dust, then swings it out with all the force she can muster, causing a small pollen explosion as she swings. It produces a large flower on the enemy's head right away. Lip gets covered on pollen slightly which she proceeds to shake off from her quickly.
Down Smash: Lip faces the fore/background and drops to her knees, raising her wand up. She then plunges it end first into the ground, and big thorny roots launch out of the ground in heavy jabs, first one at a low angle on her left side, immediately followed by one at a low angle on her right side, immediately followed by one at a high angle on her left side, finally immediately followed by a one at a high angle on her right side. A rose blossoms briefly at the tip of each root when it reaches its full length. It does all this in one second's worth of time, so anyone close to her will be hit by both roots on that side quickly.
Up Smash: Lip gracefully twirls her wand in an arching manner overhead from her left to right. Within the trail of the wand, razor-sharp leaves form and spin rapidly in place, causing blitzing damage. At the peak of the arch, a single pink flower forms, pointing straight up and makes a slight jabbing upward motion, but that's enough to cause significant damage to anyone directly overhead of Lip.
Neutral Air: Lip spins around gracefully, creating a whirlwind of petals which spin around her. This attack can suck enemies, petals inflicting multiple swipes on them as they come in contact.
Forward Air: Lip swings her wand forward after quick windup, which generates an arc of sparkling pollen after her swing. The pollen produces a flower on anyone hit.
Down Air: Lip twists in the air to swing her wand below herself. If one gets hit by the wand, they'll be spiked straight down. /Meteor Attack/
Back Air: Lip pulls her legs up and thrusts them both out back, laying flat in the air briefly, before curling up to right herself. If she lands on her front while in the middle of this move, she makes a distinct "Oof!" on landing. This move has a sweetspot, which would be her toetip. If she connects with it, the move is comparable to Ness's Legs of Judgement (Back-Air)
Up Air: She raises her hand upwards and opens it slowly, throwing off glittering powder of violet fairy dust above her, which dissolves in the air in moderate range. The one's caught in the cloud of dust suffer rapid damage with electric effect, but it has low knockback.
Grab: Lip reaches out to grab with her left hand.
Pummel: Lip hits the opponent with her Wand, putting a flower on their head. Repeated strikes with this do not make the flower grow any bigger.
Forward Throw: Lip generates a really large leaf, and smacks the opponent with it, causing a low-angled launch.
Up Throw: *placeholder*
Down Throw:Lip stamps her foot and several roots burst out, wrapping around the opponent and dragging them underground. She then proceeds to jump onto him, hopping on them like a trampoline, before launching them up out of the ground straight up.
Back Throw: Lip kicks the opponent in the shin, and a flower bulb spawns suddenly and engulfs them. The bulb opens into a Daffodil that resembles a cannon, and with a polleny blast, the Daffodil fires the opponent in the direction of Lip's back. The opponent also gets a flower on their head.
Taunts & Victory
Up Taunt: She rises up onto the toes of her right foot, lifting her left foot up and bending at the knee so that her heel touches her backside, while she tosses her wand in the air like a baton and catches it flower pointing in the direction of her back, before swinging and thrusting it to point forward at a slightly upward angle, all the while keeping her eyes on the viewer. She exclaims, "Let's win!" during the gesture with the wand.
Forward Taunt1: Lip twirls her Flower Wand, and it transforms into a bouquet of many different flowers. She smells the flowers, and exhales cutely with satisfaction, before returning the wand to normal.
Down Taunt: Lip suddenly halts, eyes widening, and she inhales sharply a couple of times before suddenly sneezing hard. She rubs her nose afterward and whimpers.
Victory 1: Lip does three identical victory hops, cheering, "Yay! Yay! Yay!" in time with the hops.
Victory 2: Lip twirls her flower wand, and the blossom converts into a dandelion seed ball, which she blows toward the foreground. She then smiles cheerily.
Victory 3: Lip does an unusually large hop, jumping completely out of view on the screen. She then descends back in to view, sitting on a large, floating, yellow flower. She says, "Let's play again!" when the flower settles in the air in place.
Defeat: Lip does not clap for the victor. Instead, she is down in a splay-legged position, rubbing her teary eyes. Panels drop on her during this as usual.[/collapse]
Gonna update my moveset soon with damages and such (maybe after I show this to Kuma), but your thoughts?
Jiggs will never be removed. As I heard, Sakurai wanted Mewtwo in Brawl but the Pokemon Company threatened to opt out of Smash if Jiggs weren't put in, instead (They already had Pika / PT / 'cario in)
What was that about? (-l_l-);for those who are making move-sets you are reading too much into it....I'm sorry but don't you think it's a waste of time because I guarantee you Sakurai will never use your roster , yours and Sakurai movesets might have similarities but it will never be the same....or if you like doing too much stick to the B special moves and the final smash because these are the most predictable atleast....
Well , I hold no power over those people so if they wanted to do these things they can do them....I will state that I don't like people posting movesets but it's my opinion and I can't force upon anyone else....There was actually already a Lip set made in 2008. Funny enough, they're about at the same quality.
EDIT: I do not like the way you think, Ike Sama. Besides, the set itself is simple enough to be easily implemented in Brawl.
I'm sorry for my previous post xD....anyway you can do whatever you like I will respect your perspective, I might not like it but I'll respect it...What was that about? (-l_l-);
I think people are noticing that pokemon are more easily replaceable than other fighters. And because there is a pool of over 500 pokemon to choose from, this notion of swapping out fighters from one game for new fighters in the next edition makes sense. In order to completely avoid an incoming flame war because some people in this thread are too ******** to not be confrontational, I'll change the subject.
I find that the detractors against Zoroark just being a Lucario/Mewtwo "replacement" are simply unfounded. Mainly because he has a wide array of tools at his disposal that neither of the aforementioned Pokemon wield.
I don't see how people creating movesets that, at least on the creative side, are far more interesting to look at than anything the actual franchise has produced. I mean, you're telling fans of the franchise to not let their creativity flow. That's kind of silly, in my opinion, seeing as we have an entire damn contest for it.Well , I hold no power over those people so if they wanted to do these things they can do them....I will state that I don't like people posting movesets but it's my opinion and I can't force upon anyone else....
I see your point, but I think the replacements could be vastly different from the character they're replacing. Can anyone honestly say Lucario makes a suitable replacement for Mewtwo BEFORE Brawl came out? One's a proper fighter and the other is an ultrapowerful psychic demigod or something.I think people are noticing that pokemon are more easily replaceable than other fighters
I think trying to cross realism with a relatively small furry with spikes in his hands, oversized dreads, and magical aura powers is a bit much. But I definitely see where you're coming from, though I always figured Lucario more for a Tai Chi kind of guy since... you know, spiritual energy and all that jazz.Case in point, Project M. I'd kill to see Lucario, though, with Bajiquan techniques as in this video.
Jedi. Nuff said.I think trying to cross realism with a relatively small furry with spikes in his hands, oversized dreads, and magical aura powers is a bit much. But I definitely see where you're coming from, though I always figured Lucario more for a Tai Chi kind of guy since... you know, spiritual energy and all that jazz.
Except... Groose stopped being funny.here's a solution for everybody.
forget impa altogether. drop sheik and replace with GROOSE.
OH MY GOD SATAN IS POSTING EVERYONE MAN THE HARPOONSCase in point, Project M. I'd kill to see Lucario, though, with Bajiquan techniques as in this video.
Ha. Ha ha ha. No.Jedi. Nuff said.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Groose has already become older than Chuck Norris jokes.Except... Groose stopped being funny.
But Yoda is Bottom Tier and Starkiller is Mid Tier at best.for a jedi, go for Luke, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, or Starkiller
That's... completely false. Hell, I could come up with an entire moveset right now JUST to disprove that.oh yeah problem with the Zoroark thing, his a moves will totally copy Wolf's A moves
Meanwhile, a red head will be god tier and eventually be banned. But Yoda is Bottom Tier and Starkiller is Mid Tier at best.
nobody will get the reference
