Hey, I know you. :oSaki is viewed pretty highly on G-Faqs, just sayin'. No one really debates him; everyone accepts him basically. I haven't seen anyone reject him from a roster in weeks if not months.
And I'm pretty sure near-everyone on G-Faqs looks at series representation. They don't look at what each character has done. For instance, I made a roster with the same 4 Zelda reps, and was told to add another because it's a part of Nintendo's Big 3, and it deserves a 5th rep if Mario and Pokemon are getting 5-6 reps too. Then I went on to mention that it would seem like filler because Ghirahim or whoever I'd add would be sooo much less popular that the Triforce Trio. I feel the same way about Waddle Dee.
Pretty much this.60%!? I'd say around 30-40%. Anyway most of us keep our serious posts in that group rather than here anyway.

I actually thought Spydr made that group first. Huh. Well SSBF was always a good organizer. Trust me, I am somewhat compulsive with organization (and cleanliness) so I know!I have no problem with Spydr wanting to do that, especially with the great discussions we have in the group.
I won't lie though, I did bring you up on the recruitment thread. You were turned down...
I'm not the most active there. Depending on the thread, I am either more serious or much less serious.60%!? I'd say around 30-40%. Anyway most of us keep our serious posts in that group rather than here anyway.
Threads also need to be maintained more diligently than some places, or else you wind up in a situation with threads asking for Twinkle Star in Super Smash Bros. 4.Individual threads have an amazing effect on the quality and clarity of discussions.
So you overgeneralize a community just because of two players that overgeneralized the smash community. This is what I think a lot of the Street Fighter community that talks us down are like. They're like the socially awkward jealous nerds talking behind the social and oddly polite jocks' backs about how lame they are.![]()
Ummm. You guys know Palutena and Medusa are not his characters. It would be the same thing if he made a DKC game (with K. Rool) and no we can't have those because Sakurai is humble. He worked on those games, but he doesn't have any investment in those characters beyond that. All of this stuff is poignant, but it hinges upon whether Sakurai's humility takes over. This is the same man that did not include King DDD and Meta-Knight in Super Smash Bros. Melee, despite being heavily requested mind you, because he did not want to cast an image of being partial to his own work. With Kid Icarus being his latest work he might approach the series the same way. Maybe his development team might be able to persuade him otherwise, I don't know. How the fans respond to the game will probably be more important in this case than others because, it is Sakurai's latest baby after all. If for some bizarre reason Kid Icarus: Uprising just did not take off and died Sakurai is probably going to be a little upset and not feel up to cramming Uprising content into the next Smash Bros games. If it does well, which is what I am expecting, than we might see one character make it. My money is on Palutena if so.
So, wait, he's a D&D nerd because he saw two fighting game dudes who were pretty much D&D dudes and acted like jerks? So you overgeneralize a community just because of two players that overgeneralized the smash community.
Congratulations, you're a D&D nerd too.
Wow, the point sure did go over your head. I think it's pretty clear your emotions are doing the talking, especially as your getting upset that someone said they like D&D nerds after seeing them.Oooh, wait, I get it, it's okay to be a douche if you're a part of the Smash community.
That would explain why Kuma and I are part of the fighting game KKK by the eyes of a rat.
I used to be a skyrim player like you..... but I took a gamecube to the.....Shut up Star, there's no such thing as an "Arrow to the Knee" joke of Smash

Balloon Fighter gets a lot of hate because Sakurai apparently said he'd be stupid w/o his balloons. But, he could just air them up with Down B like Olimar and his Pikmin. But we don't really talk about retro that much, but Lip seems to dominate currently.
Roy needs to be in thar.I had this odd notion that Balloon Fighter could have this miniaturized version of the giant fish from his game, that he'd use as a weapon. nothing is not awesome about smacking Ganondorf or Bowser with a fish.

I honestly think that in order to have sheik in the next smash they need to have oot zelda. Not before Chrome. And its also very weird to go for SS Zelda with Sheik. Just sayin'.
![]()
Then why not just put Impa in to not worry about the designing part? Oh wait, it's because Sheik is so deserving to be in Smash and has a lot of character; so much, that she can't be succeeded by a character with an actual personality and could fix the Zelda/Sheik issue once and for all.or maybe a SS inspired Sheik design. maybe draw details from Impa if she doesn't make it.
The funny thing is, she probably has all that popularity from her being one of the best characters in Melee and also being easy to learn. I wonder how things would've turned out if those weren't true.you're right. let's drop an established character who's more popular in smash than her own series, in favor of someone new who spends most of her screentime doing little besides being old.
That would work.or maybe a SS inspired Sheik design.
But impa also wasnt a very important character until ocarina of time.......It's all in the above post of Kuma. Sheik's populariry comes from Melee. As she's the easiest of the high tiers to learn to play. She had her return in Brawl, and nobody really gave a **** for her IIRC when she was revealed. Why not just replace her with an actual important character story wise?

I brought that up the other day as a joke.i say we use the impa from the oracle games.
![]()
here's a solution for everybody.
forget impa altogether. drop sheik and replace with GROOSE.
