Regarding the other sentence, I don't care if Skyward Sword is rated E10+. Ghirahim's boundaries are just highly disturbing; most other villains have better self-control, including Zant, whose only issues are his tantrums.

Here's an Idea: Not having Ghirahim OR Impa? Just keep everything the way it is...

It's even funnier when you consider he was at one point planned to be an AT, as well as a boss, but wasn't considered for playability.

Exactly, but I think that it's safe to say that both Ridley and Krystal would be good choices. It is kind of a shame that there is much less certainty this time around. The most unanimously supported newcomer (K. Rool) has been continually marginalized by Nintendo and I am pretty sure they want him completely wiped out of the DK franchise. So there's that problem. However, I guess since we're at the point where ANYTHING can happen, it makes it interesting.

Little Mac seems the very most likely to me at this point. He could be hugely unique though. Lots of jabbing attacks, most with little knockback, but lots of hitstun. Little range, slightly above average priority, little slower than most fast fighter, noticable faster than most middle weight ones. About Diddy's weight and height, maybe lighter. A build up character heavily relying on fast combos. Few finishers, but very effective ones.

At least K. Rool's presence in Mario Super Sluggers is a sign that he's not completely forgotten. But his mainstream fame is being threatened.

Mario Super Sluggers even made the effort of giving him a new persona with the Phareo theme going on. Dunno where the **** it came from, but it's appriciated. Never got Super Sluggers though, not even sure it made it to Europe seeing baseball isn't exactly a hugely popular sport here.

Mario Strikers sold like hot cupcakes though.

Regarding Wolf: I'd put him down as a good candidate for being cut due to time constraints (should there be cuts, of course). I still expect him though.

Yes, I do think Krystal is the #4 character for Star Fox at present, but I don't think she'll be getting in this game. Has nothing to do with Star Fox 64 3D and everything to do with other series being neglected in terms of characters. Really hoping you guys talk up this bit.

Other characters: We know better than that, so pass.

Future of the series: Miyamoto made a joke about how if Star Fox 64 3D doesn't sell well, it'd be the last Star Fox. People on the internet being who they are, took it completely seriously.

My money says this will be the last Star Fox game we'll see in time for Sakurai to start making his roster, however (meaning I also assume there's no Star Fox U in development right now). Not that any of that would necessarily mandate Krystal's inclusion/exclusion in Sakurai's mind, but I figure it's worth mentioning.

Sadly, Mario Super Sluggers never made it to Europe, nor Australia. The game is only found in Japan and North America.

It's too bad that K. Rool never competed in the Mario Strikers series, but I guess it would be odd to see him get beaten up by his own Kritter underlings.

Sakurai should make a Donkey Kong or StarFox game after Smash I feel. It seems he likes the franchises better than Nintendo does. :o

Sheik is already part of the series is a big DUH. But didn't you heard: Ness almost didn't made Melee. Time restraints also might've almost killed of Jigglypuff in Brawl. And if Rare would've gotten their way, Donkey Kong would've been gone from Melee as well.

So who says veterans are 100% safe?

The Ness thing is the only thing there that is true. As far as we know, Jigglypuff wasn't getting cut, and DK had no problems being in Smash. None of that has been confirmed.

Roy and Mewtwo where amongst the most popular additions in Melee Sakurai said. Yet they didn't had priority getting in before other characters.

Where did he say that? Please show me.

But Roy supporters in the first place shouldn't expect to see him back I always said. Mewtwo is different, as he's actually reappearing every now and then. Doubt his popularity waned either, unlike both Roy and Sheik.

This is just silly. Ness has been in all three games and he hasn't come back. Heck, they brought Pit back. He was dead for 15 years or more. And Sheik is still in the game after being only in OoT. How does appearing even matter?

And I do not consider myself hugely biased. Yes I want Impa, but the post you quoted are more than just my opinions, it's purely my reflection on the whole series. And how Impa fits in.

Heck, look at your last post. Everything is one big assumption. There is no ground to stand on. This is why I think your argument is rediculous. Even in this post, I can find crazy things by going line by line. There is little to no substance. I can at least back my argument for Sheik by saying "Sheik has appeared in multiple Smash titles and is more recognizable as a result. She is also a part of Zelda and her character and is still in the games despite not being in Twilight Princess." if all your argument is is trying to knock down my arguments, than you have nothing to stand back on.

If Mario can easily take down the Koopa Troop, he should have no problem dealing with K. Rool's forces. Of course, K. Rool has nothing against Mario, which is why his troops don't show any bad chemistry towards him.

It would actually be quite amusing if in Adventure Mode, Mario has to deal with K. Rool's troops. After all, Donkey Kong did go up against the Koopa Troop in the Subspace Emissary.

No way! There was tons of absolute ridiculousness being spouted pre Brawl. Gardevoir had an ENORMOUS following. Crazily obscure characters had very sizable followings! Rawk Hawk for Brawl! Paulina for Brawl! Eggplant Wizard for Brawl! Leon Powalski for Brawl! I had to literally facepalm every five seconds. As far as this new round goes, at least people keep their choices in the realm of possibility for the most part. Nothing as atrocious as the stuff from the pre-Brawl days.
