Well I'm working on Metroid 2, and have just finished SM, so I'm a bit hooked on Metroid right now. lol

So, if anyone is interested next week I will probably do my Skyward Sword stage concept I said I would do when I finished the game. Playing through the game gives me a really good idea of how a Skyward Sword game will probably work. Do not worry though, I will keep the spoilers light and keep the stage completely in a collapse box for those wanting to avoid it altogether. Just giving you all the heads up.

The only crime Brawl committed was in not having this song. You had EVERY other favorite song of mine from this game, but not my favorite one of them all? For shame Sakurai, for shame. You must rectify this gross error in judgment.

On an unrelated topic I noticed there is a track in Skyward Sword that sounds like the audio was flipped similarly to the Main! Theme. When I reverse the audio it does indeed sound like a real song; indicating to me that this song is indeed a reversal just like the main theme. Only thing is I cannot seem to figure out is what this song could be (if it is an existing track)? It sounds way too fluid in reverse to be a coincidence.

Yeah, that song (Hyrule Castle theme) and the Super Mario 64 Final Bowser Music were sadly missing.

Something tells me Nintendo has considered making a backwards version of Song of the Storms.

YES! Brinstar from Super Metroid was incredible! In fact, just add every song from Super Metroid in Super Smash Bros. Super Metroid = the definition of GREATNESS!

The Brawl Metroid music selection was mostly awful IMO. Aside from the 2 Ridley themes, the short Fusion theme, and that one lesser version of Melee's Brinstar theme the newly added Metroid music was forgettable. Actually I thought the two Melee Metroid songs (Brinstar and Brinstar Depths) were better than the average Brawl Metroid song.

Brawl could have really used the Upper or Lower Brinstar theme (especially the Lower Brinstar theme), the Mother Brain fight theme, Phendra Drifts, The Elite Pirate Boss Battle theme, The Space Pirate Prime 1 Encounter theme, the Fusion (end) alert theme, the Fusion SA-X boss fight theme, the Fusion fight boss theme, the Fusion credits (all the music at the end of Metroid Fusion and all the game play BLEW MY MIND!!!), and a couple of songs I forget from Prime 2.

On a random note, I think that custom music needs to be in Smash Bros so I can play this masterpiece of a song as custom music on an epic Metroid stage!

Nothing could ever make me as happy again Smash related as Diddy's confirmation, that's for sure. Not even Mewtwo or K.Rool's inclusion as playable characters in Smash 4. But it's probably cause I'm older now.

Had that joy of using the Final Smash on a couple of friends lately. I was owning them pretty bad (4 players, free for all) with both Diddy and DK, so they felt the need to team up against me. First match I lost (Delfino Plaza, no friendly fire on either) but the next 2 I won (in Hyrule, one with Final Smash on). Felt pretty good.

On an unrelated note I am thinking Retro Studios is working on a new F-Zero. Whether it is for the Wii U or 3DS I could not tell you. Will just have to wait and see if it comes to fruition.
