Crazy good, you mean.Well unfortunately, some characters had to get nerfed a bit for one reason or another. Imagine if all the moves from Melee remained the same when Brawl came out. There would be some crazy stuff going on.

rage or range? o.oPeach's side b is way better. Is has more rage, is reliable for recovery, and is floatier and has less lag after it is executed.
The "water gun" is called Fludd btw.
Mr Game and Watch's Up-B is good. Better recovery.I liked Marth's old Shield Breaker, but it works.
Yoshi's Up B combined with terrible air dodge just don't work.
Samus, just about all of 'em.
FLUDD isn't great, but it has its(albeit few) uses.
Sonic's Down B/Forward B would've been great if they weren't so similar.
The Koopa Klaw wasn't as sweet(IMO), but it does its job. Except in All-Star, ****it!
Pikachu's Air Back A has sucked since Melee, and his Forward B probably isn't as awesome as Pichu's.

I prefer Mr. Game & Watch's Up B in Melee.

The tornado was only useful for recovering in Melee because of how awful Mario's recovery was, as an atk it was virtually useless; FLUDD is far more useful than the Melee tornado ever was. Edgeguarding is one of the main aspects of the FLUDD, not so much as to directly gimp but to force setups (mainly with the cape). Additionally, FIHL serves as a powerful defensive tool; although Boss doesn't use it much, you see other high level players such as Fear, HeroMystic, and Big B use it quite often.The people who say FLUDD sucks are correct. It's just obvious, and the Mario Tornado from melee was better because it could be used for recovery. Just watch Boss's videos; he's the best Mario, and he very seldom uses FLUDD. When he does use FLUDD, it doesn't do much other than refresh a stale move which is enough to justify its rare use I guess (and the only useful thing it ever does against a smart opponent who knows how to recover correctly). To be honest about the Mario vs Sonic thing, I think Sonic's speed to get over the edge faster and his spring are better gimping tools than anything Mario has.
FLUDD is a pretty rare example of a completely new move in brawl, and it's even rarer in being a bad new move. In general, they tend to be improvements (like Mr. Game & Watch's new neutral aerial), but I'm sure someone can find another downgrade.

I still do not understand why Samus required that much of a nerf... it is like the Sheik and Zelda difference in Melee, most people went Sheik full time because Zelda was vastly worse. They fixed that in Brawl, but the issue remains between Samus and Zero Suit Samus.99% of Samus is worse in brawl.

Peach's 2nd jump may suck for recovery but it is a good spacing/dodging tool and marios F.L.U.D.D is not that bad I know you didn't say that Iron boots but this for others.peach's 2nd jump is now terrible as well.
