Like I said, I would tell you if I was wrong about the L button. Well, I'm wrong. Doing it with the L button is at least as successful as the Y->B slide. I can't say if it's my preferred method yet, but I can easily see this becoming the way I do this move for one reason: a dedicated FoG button, essentially. I used to have L set to grab so I could do really easy pivot grabs, but I don't foresee a problem with transitioning back to the Z button.Yeah I was pissed at the L button initially too. I couldn't spot dodge or roll for weeks after I got the game.
But. . . it's just easy now to time a trigger depress along with a jump input. Like, I use it to do Fist Planting (wait. . . I've forgotten the name we gave this thing). It's almost the same as the B-stick version (nothing without B-stick can duplicate it exactly).
This just doesn't make sense!! I've got my controller in my hand right now. I can't slide my thumb from y to b. Where the heck are you holding the controller from?
If I reposition my thumb so that I can get Y, but B with the side of my thumb, then I can see a motion, but I'd lose my physical grip on the controller, and still hit A about 15% of the time.
*throws arms up* HURRAY!Like I said, I would tell you if I was wrong about the L button. Well, I'm wrong. Doing it with the L button is at least as successful as the Y->B slide. I haven't yet gotten this to work out of a Second Jump UAir, but in theory it's possible and it's jut a matter of figuring out the right timing. DAir, UAir, and BAir can all be surrogates for the Air Dodge. The best thing which has actually been accomplished so far is UAir->SJ AD->FoG. Both Flying Dutchman and I have gotten this to work.*throws arms up* HURRAY!
I want to figure out doing this without an air dodge. That's what post #6 was about, right? If it works from "Wizkick glitch tumble," then it's just a matter of frameless landing (SJR), right?
*Imagines Kosk, once having mastered the ISJR timing for bairs, uairs, and stomps*I've now been able to do FoG from FJ u-air and FJ b-air now...but I'm having a lot more interest in ISJR stuff, especially doing b-airs and u-airs with ISJRd stomps and f-airs.
B-air is really timing based, you have to know when to DJ AD or aerial pretty well, but it looks cool .
Jesus, the timing is so hard for some of this stuff, I wonder if it could be mastered enough to use in competitive play but...it could be awesome
By that, do you mean doing a fullhop U-air/B-air, then doublejump airdodge?I've now been able to do FoG from FJ u-air and FJ b-air now...but I'm having a lot more interest in ISJR stuff, especially doing b-airs and u-airs with ISJRd stomps and f-airs.

Yea FJ u-air/b-air DJ air dodge. It seems weird with the u-airs because it's only ever wizkick into the ground or land, I'm not sure if it's the duration or something else.By that, do you mean doing a fullhop U-air/B-air, then doublejump airdodge?
because that's pretty much how it seems to work- the dj-airdodge is the only way I've been able to pull the Flight off.
like, rising B-air/U-air, wait until you fall at the 'short hop height' then DJAD > flight
No luck so far with pulling it off from an attack ISJR...
Being able to do that would propel Ganondorf so far up the tier list.Yea FJ u-air/b-air DJ air dodge. It seems weird with the u-airs because it's only ever wizkick into the ground or land, I'm not sure if it's the duration or something else.
I might've done it, like once before...but I can't remember it at all so I'm going to count it as a no >.>.
I want to ISJR stomps across the stage like Peach's dair

Holy **** that would be awesome.I want to ISJR stomps across the stage like Peach's dair
I've been trying for this for a while now. This is the one thing I want the most in a replay for my combo vid.I really would love to see this used against Snake's high recovery and then use a side-b to gimp him from 40 feet to his death. That would be so amazing and inspirational.
Would you mind terribly if it's just me going up and Ganonciding him, or do I have to gimp him?I've been trying for this for a while now. This is the one thing I want the most in a replay for my combo vid.
No. It doesn't work for CF.My friend was complaining the other day about his Captain Falcon jumping high for no reason, I dunno if that's due to a similar thing although he didn't go nearly as high as Ganondorf does.
I don't want it to be a ganoncide. I want to grab him out of cypher way above the stage and drop with him like 50 feet to the ground, crushing his skull with what might be the most violent and brutal move possible in brawl. haha.Would you mind terribly if it's just me going up and Ganonciding him, or do I have to gimp him?
O.oI don't want it to be a ganoncide. I want to grab him out of cypher way above the stage and drop with him like 50 feet to the ground, crushing his skull with what might be the most violent and brutal move possible in brawl. haha.
That is Ganonly awesome. In fact, it deserves to be sigged.I don't want it to be a ganoncide. I want to grab him out of cypher way above the stage and drop with him like 50 feet to the ground, crushing his skull with what might be the most violent and brutal move possible in brawl. haha.
You and I both.I've been trying for this for a while now. This is the one thing I want the most in a replay for my combo vid.
Signature bait, Swoops?
Sig'd.People may rip on Ganon's running and regular animations in general, but he has the most badass animations in Brawl, no one else can even compare.
Seriously...lifting them up by their face with just one of your hands and shooting dark flames down their throat? Kicking someone straight to the sternum and shattering it, stomping them in the head so their entire spine is crushed...checking them in the nuts with f-throw. Taking them into the abyss and crushing their head into the ground.
Ganon is awesome
That statement deserves it!Mad new sigs all up in this sh*t. fromundaman, I'm flattered.

It's funny...at a certain point in most wifi matches I stop caring about winning and only try to land specific combos that I've wanted to see for a long time. In the event I land them, I suicide, twice if necessary, in order to get the replay. heh.
It worked.<-< >-> What if it is dutch...what if it is
Live to be about 300+ years old and run the mile and then talk to me about jacked up running animations. People have no right to criticize Ganon's run.People may rip on Ganon's running and regular animations in general, but he has the most badass animations in Brawl, no one else can even compare.

Not so hot. It's too forced. The carnage has to flow naturally like the blood of the unforgiven foes of the King of Evil come the Ganocalypse. My turn to blatantly sig bait!

The best thing about being Ganon is the fear you inspire. There are people who say "Ganondorf sucks" but it is all an act. Their very souls quiver as you walk up to them. You grab them by the neck and the last thing they ever hear is an evil laugh. You can even hear the fear when the god**** announcer says Ganondorf. If you turn the volume way up, you'll hear what he is really saying: "Ganondorf, the almighty. Opponent, may God have mercy on your soul."

How'd I do?
Also, someone needs to test a FOG on the wind part of Pokemon Stadium 2.
Boo ya, give up them 5 dollars dutch...there was a bet, right? It worked.
O-o Man this is just the Ganon sig thread right now. Mr E! Change the title to Ganondorf Signature Thread! Not so hot. It's too forced. The carnage has to flow naturally like the blood of the unforgiven foes of the King of Evil come the Ganocalypse.
