Red/Pokemon Trainer (Pokemon)
The First Pokemon master
Value - A - One of Nintendo's biggest humanoid icons. The most well known out of all the trainers, as well as being the most popular.
Effort - B - Model Provided, but many new animations and props may be needed. some animations exsist, but not many.
Background - Red was the playable character in the first generation pokemon games, as well as being the ultimate challenge trainer in gold and silver. Both these appearances were made again in the remakes of red and blue, as well as the remakes of gold and silver. after those two appearances, he has appeared many other times. he's the trainer with the most appearances.
Moveset - There's two real options here. One is that Red uses mainly pokeball pokemon and summons those with all 4 of his special moves, as well as use them for many of his other moves. this way, he would attack with punches and kicks less often. the other moveset he could have is using more items of his game, with more punching and kicking. he could use an old rod, his backpack, his bicycle, his pokedex, rocks and bait from the safari zone, and have only one move dedicated to spawning pokeballs (with a big delay, and have the super overpowered pokemon ruled out, of course). This way, Red would be more of an oddball character.
Pros
-Veteran cut from Brawl
-Very iconic
-A human Pokemon character
-Some animations already exist, such as a walk, an idle, a losing animation, and a jump. Possibly some of the other ones could work as taunts or idles.
-Could Possibly borrow some animations from Snake and possibly Ike
Cons
-Another Pokemon Rep
-Would have to be completely revamped from brawl
-Will need custom props (bike, old rod, etc)
-Will need at least some custom animations
