Aren't there compatible GC style controllers? I wouldn't mind no wi-fi if I knew enough ppl in Louisville to play PM with. Online PM play seems kind of a hassle anyway.

Be careful, you only get 5 votes and they can't be changed. This is just a suggestion, but you might want to pick 2 or 3 that you feel the strongest about. That way you can see how things pan out. You never know. Especially since there are more than 5 characters you want to see.

In that case I feel strongest about Shadow, Pichu, and Black Shadow/Ganondorf and the other two that I would like to see would be Lyn and Krystal. I got rid of waluigi because I actually used to play as Pichu probably the most in melee so I would like to see him return

Some pages back I saw mention of the villain from Kirby Squeak Squad (sorry, I don't remember his name) with a pretty creative moveset, which I also think was fast and relied heavily on trickery and stuff like that, so, there you have it I have ideas and can remember (some) things!

I went digging and found that Daroach moveset:

Alright, I finally whipped up the moveset for Daroach, as promised. Like I said, he is primarily to be a trickster / magic user. He is weak on the ground, but he is a master of the air, sort of a reversed Little Mac.

Anyways, here you go, folks!

Tell me what ya guys think, if I might have overseen something that would be too overpowered, please tell me and I'll fix it, I do want this to be seen as a unique moveset

I vote for King K. Rool, Skull Kid, Black Shadow, Samurai Goroh and Ridley.

I'm more inclined towards the villainous characters because there's just three villains in the roster (five if you count King Dedede and Mewtwo, and that's still too few). I feel that the game gets to a point where I'm tired of beating up Mario or destroying Kirby. In Stan Lee's words, "imagine they're all your children, and then they're all fighting each other, clobbering each other!"

I do, actually. But Mobile only displays it 50% of the time.

Yeah sorry, not actual literal size. But the size of the fanbase due to its popularity. It would be very strange to me if Fire Emblem got a fourth rep and DK and Metroid went without a third. DK and Metroid should get priority for a third rep regardless.

And I still think the fourth sword user argument is valid, not because of playstyle cos I'm sure Lyn would have a different playstyle, but because 4 sword users is not a good representation of a series that is all about characters with different classes and weaponry. I like Fire Emblem but I want the characters in smash to do the series justice.

Every single Fire Emblem game has a protagonist that uses a sword, and nothing else until being promoted (though Sigurd starts his game promoted and able to use a lance). The few protagonists that use other weapons are from games with multiple protagonists.

Well actually, every playable character is a protagonist, so of course there is going to be at least one sword-wielding protagonist in each game. However, there are lots of protagonists that aren't sword users. So no, the current FE characters that are in PM aren't really accurately representing the series.

Okay so because I'm a nerd who loves Alt Costumes almost as much as new characters, I decided to look into various options for Lyn's Alt
There are 3 other female protagonists in FE besides Lyn

I like it. Nothing too impressive but it'd work well.

It's vastly different from Lyn's current look but it's not impossible to pull off.

Lucina's outfit is a lil too close to Marth IMO. It could work, I guess.

Those would all be awesome alts for Lyn. It'd make me much more likely to play as her, because to be honest, I was never drawn to her design. I like every single one of those characters' costumes much better.

As for Lucina looking like Marth, Mario used to have a Wario alt and there weren't any problems, so I think it could work.

Like I said, though, it could be modified slightly. Put a shirt under whatever you call the cloth that's hanging down over her chest and lengthen the shorts. Problem solved
