It is a great day to be a smash fan. 3(5?) hype reveals for smash 4, with a (likely) reveal for project M on the horizon.

This past year has been jam-packed full of awesome Smash-related stuff. All the Smash 4 reveals, Project M's Clone Engine being revealed, BrawlEx allowing so many character for Brawl builds.

Great things have been happening in the world of Smash, and yet the hype train still doesn't stop!

I'm still rather confused by Smash 4's lack of villains ...

Villains and dark characters are some of my favorites, this is why I like Mewtwo so much! This is also why I'm hoping for Medusa in either Project M or possibly still in Smash 4.

Guys, Miis are meant to be anyone.
Project M can't add characters, because they can be put in Sm4sh by the player!

So, this far E3 announced the Mii's, Palutena, and Pac-Man, with maybe the exception of Palutena (not really though since people kinda expected her in Smash 4) this really has not affected any of our current picks I don't think. I mean no one else was really confirmed or de-confirmed really, I don't think, unless I missed something.

I do believe that was in the direct where Greninja was revealed. So yeah. Shadow was already deconfirmed.

You're right. I skimmed through it myself. I could've swore I've already seen Shadow somewhere though. Regardless, deconfirmed. Nice find Alfonzo.

He's an assist trophy that shows up in one of the many E3 videos. I think I saw it one of Keitaro's videos. He castsa giant spherical purple haze... not sure what it did.

Like Rasgar said. He is from Kid Icarus: Uprising. All it really confirms is that he won't be playable. Not like that matters for P:M. I just figured I would share my find. I'm trying to skim the E3 videos to see all the assist trophies and stages bosses so we can put a lid on some character discussions. I've not seen anything on the Pyrosphere stage yet. In fact, I don't think it is even in the demo. Anyone else find that..."suspicious"? It is like they are trying to hide something. Ridley might just be playable after all.

It wasn't in the invitational, at the very least, which does seem like it points to playable Ridley - either that, or Sakurai just isn't done dragging out the trolling yet.

It wasn't on any demo play at all. I've been watching gameplay all day. I've not once seen Pyrosphere from any of Nintendo's livestream, tournament matches, uploads from Gamexplain, and other various sources. Pyrosphere wasn't in the demo, so I'm absolutely sure Sakurai is top tier trolling us about Ridley being a boss character. In fact, I think he tricked everyone altogether. He is playing really clever about his reveals this year.

If you read further, most people agree that the roster will be capped at 47, so everyone is accounted for except for likely 1 returning vet.

I'm aware, but it's also possible that not all vets will return. We already know there will be cuts. If there are more than 3-4 cuts, then each cut after will mean a Newcomer.

That's assuming that we are correct in saying there will be 47 characters and that the slots won't be scaled, of course. The dimensions of the slots don't have to be proportional when they're made smaller for more room.

I don't see anything about Salromano saying Ridley is NOT one of the newcomers. All I see is the ones it claims we will see. Which, like Shin said, it didn't note Rosalina. It is very likely we will see more newcomers than the leak has listed.

I can see where this is going and I don't like it. I will abandon this thread faster than Sonic's declining game sales if it progresses to a Pichu level of intolerance.
