Well welcome Riho, as someone who lurked for a while and then finally started posting and also plans to play smash 4 a lot in college, it's actually kind of funny how much we relate on those topics haha

Uhhhh...
Can ZSS land an up-B out of an air-release?
Cuz if she could, couldn't she could D-smash Ness into another grab after he got spiked by up-B, chaining him across the stage?

The next tourney I go to, I will show how useful Yo-yos are. Was on wi-fi and I've been doing pretty well lately. XP

Make sure you post vids! And to the ZSS thing, I dunno you should check if it's a thing already but it doesn't seem fast enough or consistent enough to be a chain grab... Also you can tech the spike so

In response to the ZSS combo, if that even was possible (to land the up-b) you'd be able to SDI/DI behind ZSS (or away maybe) and dodge the Dsmash.

Well, the person I was testing this with clearly doesn't know how to play this game...

EDIT: I think Ness has a few frames to dodge the up-B anyway, so I feel stupid now...

Yea, mentioning this stuff can lead to new discoveries. I remember learning from Eagle-eye that dash attack at low percents combos in to Uair, ad at low percents you can often get Uair strings as well. :D

Well yeah, then later I started thining, what if a tech roll isn't far/fast enough to avoid a grab, and then I remembered that I JUST POSTED that Ness can probably avoid the up-B anyway:facepalm:

Anyway have you guys ever faced someone so many times that you've developed a sort of meta game on your first move? Right at the beginning of the match my friend and I usually know exactly what the other is going to do first and try to counter it for the first hit, and we end up mind gaming each other tremendously

Yup, i'm in the same situation as reckless, my brother and I often open with set things on MUs we play often. For instance, i'd always SH PKF him as Lucas when he went as someone. Just the other day he finally predicted it and punished me for it.

My brother is older than me by far and plays competitively. He's been behind me for ages now BUT he now has a character that he hasn't used in ages that is suddenly really good... scarily good (even if it is MK). I dunno if he still wants to main Lucas, though i know he would in dubs so I guess that's nice since for ages we used to both main Lucas. He's branched out but we occasionally play... it's why I know the Lucas - Lucas MU like the back of my hand and the Lucas - Ness / Ness - Ness MUs aren't far behind. :D

Thanks Labernash. Nido, change it to 'Labernash is awesome'. :D

And i'm enjoying Nintendoland a heck of a lot more than I thought I would. Tried out the animal crossing game and something about being an elephant and running away from two guards with knives and forks trying to catch you while you get lollies in to trays is incredibly more fun than you might think. :p

luco pls come to bayum
i second the desire for an insurmountable amount of booty sweat in this thread

and that animal crossing lolly hoarding game is awesome, playing it with a party of 5 (or 4, forgot what the max amount is) makes it more even.

Even playing with 2 is pretty even. You're faster than them as long as you have 0 or 1 lollies on you but there's 2 guards going for you in return.

It's actually pretty fun. Theoretically if the animal is patient, it will always win but in reality that doesn't happen so often.

Animal crossing gaurds are BROKEN. You need to learn the Meta Game, gaurds won't loose. Mario Chase tho
