If by longer than average lasting you mean cool down time then yes.

Ftilt is an amazing defensive move that clanks with even powerful fsmashes like Wario's and Kirby's.

I'm like 90% certain it is the same with 90% of the other characters as well with their Ftilt. And like 90% of the cast has one that is overall better.

And it starts killing at 130%+, possibly earlier if you catch them offguard near the edge and they're light weight.

That is if it is fresh and you tilt it up, Lucas' normal ftilt has almost the same KO power as it even when tilting it up. But yeah I'll give the move this at least.

But that ends the advantages Ness' ftilt has over Lucas', Lucas' is still way better. Too bad Lucas still sucks more than Ness though. :3

Lucas' Ftilt does clank with other moves though, including Kirby's and Wario's Fsmash (at least until Wario's SA turns on, but that is the same with Ness though).

And the only reason why Lucas' ftilt won't be as fresh is because it is way better, but the funny thing is Lucas players can still save that move if they want to, I stop using it a good % of the time if my target is around 100% all the time.
