I don't really play Basic Brawl because of those aforementioned people; I play Team Brawl if I can ever find anyone to play with. I did see a DK ****** Team Brawl, and shortly before that a Ness who could PK Jump and SH double aerial... was that you?

When everyone and their mother will always double jump right after you bthrow them off the stage as Ike, who wouldn't play as him and spike them to their death three times a match? Actually, I think my record for this is five spikes of that sort in one match. On one person, I think I got three or four. Lulz were had. People on Basic Brawl just don't learn... at least Team Brawl has players that are a bit more competent.

Basically you need to make good judgment calls when it comes to basic. When you see a room thats 3v1, leave. when you see a room that has all noobs in it leave. If you by chance in encounter someone that interests you...stick around and either fight them/team with them depending on their behavior. Being heavily aware of whats going on around you allows you to make this decision pretty quickly, plus reading everyones body language. This also applies to Teams as well. You might find someone that has skill but theres two other noobs in the room. Theres a real challenge. I've taken games off of good people even when i had a worthless team mate just to prove to myself i was capable of bringing my team around even if my partner isnt as skilled as me. If you ever run into a red DDD/ white wolf/snake/blue lucario theres a good chance its me. Especially if im practicing b-reversals LOL

Yeah, I've found most Team Brawls to have one good player and two newbs. If the good player and I are on opposite teams I just go after the him and leave the newb to my teammate. Usually after getting gimped a couple of times my newb teammate learns to leave the tough ones to me, lol. I never really care who wins as long as I can fight someone who at least is above the level of spamming PKF and PKT2 as Lucas or something.
