Cause vs. Snake you have to keep track of 3 projectiles at a time, that hurts my eyes, and you have to camp cuz it's brawl, also it's brawl, I don't have djc uair combos.

Melee Ness is probably the character I'm best at using. Unfortunately since he's bad I usually do better with Peach. I am thinking about using Ness vs. aggressive foxes, since inexperienced Fox players are easy to read and Ness can wtf combo Fox and I suck at Fox vs. Peach matchup vs. Fox's that know how to drillshine and lasercamp...

Really melee Ness is just moving around a lot, evading stuff, spacing with fair, and combos. Oh and focusing on not getting hit off the stage...

It took me like two years to get mofo combos down somewhat consistently. I can still only do throw -> uair or uair -> uair. I've never really used uair -> bat.

Right now I'm focusing on learning nair combos with Ness. It can combo Peach and Marth really well and those are problematic matchups so... yea important...

Melee Ness is weird cuz there are like two playstyles with him, neither of which are really that effective. Campy aerial Ness that spams fair, and then there's fast djc Ness. To be effective you have to combine both of them. That's hard for me cuz I like moving fast lots...

(To the First Post) This is good news but I'm afraid if Ness gets too high, people will only use him because he's a higher tier. Just like how people only use MK, Snake and DDD because they are high tier and not like them for who they are.

ness won't ever be TOO high tier so that people only use him for his skittles. He's too difficult to learn fully to actually be viable unless you actually put effort into learning all that stuff. also, nobody can comprehend the magnets, so nobody will ever make him a higher tier postion than mid.

Too bad I'm way too busy with life to smash. If I had the time, I'd train 24/7 and go to all the tourneys I could, but I can't. Going to Germany in less than 3 days, then summer projects so that I can get those out of the way. Then possibly college applications nearing the end of summer or making more final decisions on where I wanna go. Then getting my license (to kill... Jk)......

I'm pretty sure smash64, shaky, vice, and barto are doing a better job than I ever could repping ness. But I can hope that I'll help you guys in da future.
