It really is. It covers less area than Ryuka's, so it's easier to evade...

But if you get hit and have something over 90, you're as good as dead.

Lucas's is weaker by far, and can be escaped using an airdodge even if you're hit. They're both bad, but at least it's instant use the instant they get their hands on the Smashball.
