Neat little mindgame with Nades...

Well I haven't seen anywhere about this posted unless I missed.

Has anyone mentioned Snake dropping the grenade, picking it up, grabbing onto the edge and let it blow up during your invincibility frames?

I thought it'd be an interesting thing for mindgames especially if opponent are at high %

If this is old then ignore this thread or lock it.

i think this is very good idea.
it's almost like stalling because it would make your opp at a high % not approach you.

yeah its good... another mind game is grabbing a nade and jumping off to get gimped but then using cypher then nade blows up =D the ncypher again i guess =P

Because this way, you get to hit them from below the edge, which has a chance to stage spike, depending on where you are. Also, why just punch somebody when you can EXPLODE them?

I was just experimenting on my own and discovered a new trick that's all.

But this is pretty useful to add in your bag of tricks.

Wow, that DOES sound pretty nice. I'll have to get the timing down, but sounds worth it again people who fly.

Also, this is GREAT to Gimp people who are hard to Gimp usually/can punish Gimping.

lol i actually posted this in a character discussion as a technique that i like to use i've never seen any one else use it before. but yeah its effective. i figured there are obviously other people who have thought it up tho.

It could be a good edgeguard. I mean, your holding the edge at the INV frame and you blow up. gernades do Launch so I would suppose it is possible to use it as a guard. Butttt I would rather use land mins and C4 as a edge guard =P

I was able to do this trick after experimenting a while in training mode, I had no idea someone made a thread about it.

I don't see anyone use this tactic, I wish more people would.
