I would prefer that people just take friendlies more seriously, but I guess pools are undeniably in...

For me and a few other guys, we're pretty much just being forced to play matches for the sake of matches. I know I wouldn't refuse to play serious friendlies with someone if they asked, but I guess it's whatever now.

well i haven't updated my location, i'm in Melbourne, fl right now (1 hour, 60 miles away) but like airfare sucks and it's putting a dent to my paychecks from work lol but it's still up in the air for me to go to NC.

Unless you play someone worse than you A LOT, you're not really gonna noticeably improve.

I'll accept pools because they're here to stay and at least some people will benefit from them, but you can't honestly look me in the face and say I'm really getting much of anything out of it.

lol shady seriously doesnt care.... we really dont, just saying our opinion. But foxy, last pool it was me and you in the same pool, that wasnt fair to seth, kale and snapp. pools with small numbers ( less than 30) may screw over the non-ranked people.

Example ( seth got second highest seed last time in our pool, but ended up fighting shady second round in bracket.) no matter what happens, the non-ranked players may have two or more ranked people in their pool, crippling their chance to get a good seed in bracket.

edit: again, this is your tourney and i respect the **** out of you for wanting to make our scene much stronger. like im definitely gettin dem nuts next time i see u,.

Pools really are best suited to large turnouts. For a smaller turnout, you may as well just do a full round-robin tourney since a "pools then bracket" format would be cutting away the time advantage that double elimination has over round-robin. This especially rings true since the pools won't be eliminating anybody.

lol keith, I beat you in that pool.

if anything wasn't fair it was foxy forfeiting to you for no reason but taking me serious and beating me. giving you the 1 seed instead of a 3 if foxy would of just beat you like he could of.

then in bracket shady got the #1 overall seed since he 2-0'ed everybody in his pool and somehow you two were switched putting me and shady together second round in the middle of the bracket. you were at the tip top of the bracket fighting the winner of foxy/killer and foxy went donkey kong and lost lol (foxy beat me with mk btw), somehow you managed to not fight foxy twice that tourny.

I didn't care to make it a big deal of it then but after that horrible post you just wrote up I had to state the facts.

It sounds like you are trying to protect yourself from being upset in pools and getting a bad draw then you are concerned with pools "wasting your time".

lol and after that tourny I've played shady like two different times in the second round of bracket without pools so doesn't even ****ing matter. I'm gonna have to beat shady eventually whether it be second round or winners finals if I want to win a tourny he is attending.

I don't hate you or anything keith but please don't use me as a scrub example of how players get screwed in pools. I love pools and made it out of pools at waba for all that's worth and will continue to support pools for the sake of the nc brawl community.
