NCSU Smash Stacks - Round 9 @DUKE 10/30

The reason for that is that I made sure everyone played their matches by chasing them around the venue and then kicking people who were playing friendlies off of setups.

I actually posted brackets, went to eat lunch, and came back and in that 45min time nobody played a single tourny set. Brawl players are the worst about playing matches.

Brawl & Melee were both done by 11:15pm, and we only had 3 melee setups and 4 brawl setups.

Oh, both, I was under the impression that only Brawl was done by 11:15, my bad.

Dj i wanted to see yo MK man. seriously dont believe the hype about mk. just cause he's overpowered dont mean hes for everyone. some people just simply dont like him. i think u would like diddy alot. he's frustrating to play against, requires alot of skill 2 play, and is the closest thing to a melee char.

Bwahahahaha. Its actually the other way around. And they ESPCIALLY get ***** if they're just fishing for grabs the whole time and camping sheild. Falcon can actually grab them when they sheild and dthrow and still continue pressuring. Once they are in the air, it's done because they're so easy to combo. Stomps have good sheildstun and knockback so its safe if spaced. He's so fast that its hard to keep up with him if he camps. Yeah, we wreck him if we grab him but its hard to grab him. It seems like josh has convinced people that ics **** falcon when it isn't th case.

Either way, good **** john. You're getting really good really fast. Josh, either play the matchup as smart as I know you're capable of or go fox.

yo keith i was just playin some wifi with your boy malcolm. hes so good. first match I won, second match he won...i was pissed tho cuz it only happened cuz i drill rushed by accident :/ but its alright because he destroyed me 3rd game and proved he was better lol...(2 stock)

then we played a bunch of friendlies, i won like 2 and he won like 10...so good, i need 2 learn the wario MU

lol yea, Malcolm is legit man. i used wario at NCSU toruney, did well. i wafted rag all his lives fist match. he beat me second match. which was dumb on my part cause he took me 2 pokemon stadium. wario ***** there because he can camp endlessly. i got to confident. 3rd match i had an early 55 dmg lead on rag on brinstar. and i was going to camp until the waft but.... ehhh i did some dumb crap, he and seth beat me legitly though.

edit: yea dj wario is a crazy char. but if u dont have like perfect spacing and timing on the wafts, he's useless. especially against mk or marth.... D3 is bad to but if u get a heavy lead u can camp him and D3 cant do ****. plus he's a bug char so bigger aim for wafts.

rag uses mk for his hard MU's, he used dk against shady both sets, i think against jon as well. but how is dk good on brinstar? and if so, he cant be better than wario on brinstar.

edit: lol oh and dont worry about him 2 stocking u. i think he even 2 stocked atmosk's mk at pound 4 lol.

What Plur said is true, but IC's do still **** Falcon. If you play the matchup as he said, your bound to get whooped. I play Adam alot (a really great Falcon) and I've learned you really shouldn't even need grabs to win. U-air is your best friend. And if he hits your shield with anything except B-air, you can punish it. Maybe not with a grab, but with a f-tilt or something.

And Stingerz, you didn't tell me there was a IC player other then Plur in NC. O:

dk is really good on brinstar...dk's down b takes up the entire bottom area because of all the hittable things around extending its range lol

kack, you know theyre talking about melee right?

Idk if DJ really wants to spend ALL that time learning Diddy when if you spent a quarter of the time with MK, you could probably start placing well in local tournaments.
