King of Fighters?
They're a new-ish leaker who leaked the indie showcase. They entered the scene with Sabi's endorsement right away to the point where Sabi has routinely had to clarify that they aren't her.
Oof, yeah, that seems very strong. Speaking of Sabi, NanaKarobi commented on and retweeted this post Sabi just made.
I am super duper confused about that post. Like, what could it mean? Is the trailer going to hint at character 5? As Terry doesn't make me have any instant feelings about the final character, beyond the fact that we seem to be getting a male-only Fighter's Pass....
That's the mystery, but it seems both Sabi and Nana are in on it and know. Some people are thinking that there is a true leak out there that included Terry and someone else.
I am seeing people bring it up, but apparently people are thinking it's from something farther back, at least that is the thought process in the Geno thread. Plus, Sabi seems to have guessed that people would look at this post and found it funny, as if it's off mark.

So it could be possible that we could see two SNK characters as DLC?
It is possible if two or three SNK characters could get in as a single fighter... like Pokémon Trainer. That’s the idea behind a King of Fighters character.
You know, I could imagine that could be an interesting idea especially since all King of Fighters games are usually in a 3v3 gameplay mechanic.
KoF is a bit different from your typical 3v3 in that it's 1v1 but when your character dies you change into a new one. It's not like MvC where you can switch characters at an instant (the only KoF games that were like this were 2003 and XI). Because of this and the excessive amount of effort that'd have to go into making 3 fighters, I don't see us getting a Pokemon Trainer-style character.
So, basically hoping that like how Erdrick was leaked instead of the four versions of Hero, Terry was leaked in spite of other KoF characters being present too?
So... the King of Fighters character would be like the final battle in Smash Tour from SSB4 Wii U.
I don't see the switching characters mechanic being included in their actual moveset, since it'd pretty much require Sakurai to make 3 characters. This is the type of thing you'd see get incorporated into their classic mode, and it's already sort of represented through Squad Strike. Plus if Sakurai were to go that route, he'd probably go with Kyo/Benimaru/Daimon instead of Kyo/Terry/Nakoruru since the first group composes the main Hero team in most KoF games.

Yeah, though Nana is willing to support Sabi, like they have done today.
Whether that's that, I'm certain that we're still getting SNK Characters.

Well, that's the thing about leaks. Eventually the whole dam just busts open.
Unfortunately for me I bought the pass. If I'd known I'd be so disappointed in the dlc roster, I wouldn't have done that so at least I could remove a little bit of the support. I guess even if it's terry there's still a chance for a girl as the 5th spot, but it's not very encouraging right now :O
I mean, it's possible. Things have slipped by leakers before (notably Ritcher's existence and the alternate outfits for Hero), but this would be a pretty big thing to miss. I guess it depends on what the character is called - Terry or uh... King of Fighters Duo?
I mean, Sakurai did say not to buy the pass unless you were very confident you would be happy with anything. I am really surprised by how male the selection has been though...
Retrospectively I wouldn't get it. I hoped for better even if I didnt have much in mind. That's all I can say.
