As you read on my last blog, I'm back... But my Wii is gone., you saw that i sent my Wii to nintendo so they could fix the lense.

When I went to san fransisco (few weeks ago), i sent my wii to nintendo to fix while i was gone. Surprisingly, they sent it the exact day i came back. So it took them 5 days to send that back. Sounded too good to be true. It was. They swapped my lense with new one, but this new lense was a WTFOMGFAIL. I couldnt load ANY disk.

So i send it back again. For the second time. And I expect them to send it back to me in 5 days again, FIXED. But no, they take 3 WEEKS to send it back. (Today i got it back)

Everyone knows a Wii is jut like a computer right? You can move the hard drive over to another. They sent me a new Wii. Nintendo is HELLA lazy. They didnt transfer my old wii data. And thanks to smart nintendo, you cant copy OR move wifi game memories to your SD card.

So now i have my wii back, but allof my hard earned data is gone. **** nintendo. Nintendo ftl.

3 years of data, gone. In a flash. WTF Nintendo... WTF?

So pretty much, i can play brawl again... but i wont use any unlockable characters for a litte because i dont feel like unlocking them again. That is all. Thanks foreading

Sorry if i sound like im over exadgurating, or overly reacting, but really, nintendo has no balls

There's only one solution to this problem. Buy a PS3, it's the only console out that right now that won't break when you look at it funny SD card, so that way you can store your data if another breakdown happens.

If you read thouroughly, i said you cant copy/move wifi games

this is so 2 friend codes wont exist, and the possibility of duplicating items 0. So i couldnt transfer most of my games. i have an SD card

You could have gotten homebrew for a split second, made a NAND backup, and then deleted said homebrew when you sent it in.

Or, alternatively, you could have bought a new disc drive and installed it yourself.

Does it say anywhere that they can do this? Is there a warning or something?
This is incredibly stupid. The Wii sucks.

Nintendo's OFFICIAL cleaner. $10 wasted.

I used to respect nintendo before the Wii and DS lite.

They are allowed to do this though they really shouldn't... When I sent in my PS3 to get fixed they deleted everything and there was a TON of like NBA '09 save data on it and I was like WTF? Did they just delete everything and play around on my PS3? Good thing Sony was smart in making Playstation ID's so that I pretty much have all of my stuff back since I really only play online with my PS3

Its because you have a damaged disc drive or a damaged lens, NOT a dirty one. Its not Nintendo's fault for it not working, its your fault for buying an item that couldn't have fixed the problem in the first place..... But it is Nintendo's fault for making the Wii Disc Drive so **** fragile....

You know, the Wii DVD Drive starts breaking after 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 years, right?

The same thing happened to me back in August. A huge electrical storm annihilated most of my electronics including my Wii and computer. Like you, all my data was erased on my Wii and I had to go through Brawl 100% all over again.

I would just unlock all the characters, and call it a day. Probably go through the SSE too.

If you really wanted to, you could download a save file, if you got 100% completion and then lost it. My Brawl data is messed up slightly, so I intend to finish getting 100% completion and then download another 100% complete file (I can bring any names I actually care about on a Wiimote and copy them back over) in order to fix the problem without having to redo everything.
