Do you guys know where I could get a decent scanner without spending any money (or at the most, not much). I draw a lot, and would LOVE to draw y'all some pony stuffs (whether just for fun and off the top of my mind, or possible commissions, free commissions), cuz I cant draw worth crap on programs. HOWEVER, I tend to be good at drawing irl then scanning and tracing/spiffing up in programs to make them look good.

Dunno, SA's got a pretty close knit group so MLP spread pretty good. Leaf, Rei, and Omega (I feel like I'm missing somepony) are also fellow TX'n bronies, just scattered.

My 64 bit Windows 7 won't play mkv videos. I can hear audio when I use vlc player. Nothing else works. Windows Media Player can't open any files, not even mp3, Anyone know what I should do?

@Zant: You have some sort of DivX or XviD (player or plug in) to play mkv? WMP is a bit flip flop for me, but I use Winamp for MP3s and WMP for general video usage. Else update WMP i guess, the rest i dunno, soz :<

Is it Nvidia, AMD, or Intel?

Which windows provider?
Alienware?

I prefer Intel, and ASUS Computers. Alienware is good, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit overpriced imo. Can easily save couple $100, by buying parts and building it yourself. Yet, you can say that about every company.

Intel is terrible when it comes to graphics and anyone who knows about hardware will tell you that. they should stick to processors.
also NVIDIA is the current best, but ATI is a great equivalent.
Alienware is too expensive for its stats, youre better off building your own(if youre getting a PC).
otherwise, ASUS/Toshiba are good laptops, id stray from ASUS as they mostly have intel graphics though.

I like lenovo's 10 sec boot-up. Toshiba does sound good too...
