however he wears it to commemerate his (thought to be) dead sister who fell when their supposed allies ravaged his country. and in the process spent many long years gradually re-conquering his country for his citizens
so, i dont regard him a princess, rather just a man XD

I'll bet that thought to be dead sister wasnt even his sister at all and he just made it all up to take her tiara when she died.
