There's no way Hijikata's cutie mark could be anything other than a bowl of mayonnaise, and Gin's would either be strawberry milk or a chocolate parfait.

Yeah, I say no thanks as well. I got around 50 episodes through Gintama and I couldn't stand it anymore. It was funny a few times, but funny a few times isn't enough to carry an show that relies solely on its humor.

A few times? Did you watch 50 episodes or 5? But even then, 5 episodes has more than just "a few" funny moments. And while it is mostly humourous, Gin Tama has plenty of serious moments and lines so it doesn't just rely its humour. Oh well, different strokes and all that jazz.
And I just realised that you coloured more of Robin, Rei. Now her hair looks good.

I did watch 50 episodes. I don't know how, but I did it.
Most of the funny moments fell flat for me. Even when I did get the references. And I did watch one of the "serious" arcs, it was okay, but not enough to justify me watching any more episodes.
