Good thing too, because you're mistaken. They didn't bring up the Elements of Harmony in the last five minutes. Bring up. As in, you knew about the Elements the whole time and how they would be what saves Luna from her little goth phase. The Elements weren't just completely introduced to the story in the last 5 minutes to solve and/or wrap everything up like some sort of, I don't know, poorly crafted and unlikey god from a machine. Why, that would just be poor storytelling.
