Endless Ocean 1 & 2‘s entire soundtrack goes unused even though Endless Ocean is a Nintendo IP. But what should I expect when it hasn’t even gotten a spirit or trophy.

As a massive Dragon Quest fan, you can imagine how disappointed I was when I found out every song was going to be a MIDI. They're good songs nonetheless, but damn having the orchestrated tracks play in the trailer, but not having them in the game itself is a massive kick in the nuts.

There are still some other DQ tracks that I wanted to see in Smash. Hopefully if they'll ever considering of adding the Heroes in a future installment back again, they'll add some of these along with them. I'll even accept the MIDI versions at this point...

Dragon Quest II - Endless World : This is the field theme of DQII, This song just feels so grandiose it's just fits with the DQ stage
Dragon Quest III - Heavenly Flight : One of Koichi Sugiyama's best works in my opinion, it wouldn't really fit battle, but it still deserves a spot
Dragon Quest V - Violent Enemies : The normal Battle Theme of DQV, my favourite game of the franchise
Dragon Quest V - Castle Trumpeter : I would love to hear a more upbeat remix more fit for Smash. There's also a night version, they could incorporate both
Dragon Quest VII - Fighting Spirit : The normal Battle Theme of DQVII, first game I played of this amazing franchise, one of the best battle themes imo
Dragon Quest IX - Time of the Decisive Battle : I really like this battle theme as you can hear a leitmotif of the iconic DQ overture

I'm already glad we have 8 DQ songs in the game, despite them all being MIDIs. It's at least better than what they did to Final Fantasy, I'll give them that. But Dragon Quest deserves more than what it currently has nonetheless, so I thought about sharing the tracks I'd be delighted to see in Smash. Hopefully the boys will get what they deserve at some point in the future.

I knew at least one or two of the original versions were in Ultimate, but I looked up the remixes from the Olympic games, and they're much better than they have any right to be. (though maybe that speaks more about the quality of the original music)

You know how in Mementos a T.V. shows an animation of Morgana running (or Teddie or the clip of the Persona 3 OP), if a music from Persona 1 or 2 (Innocent Sin or Eternal Punishment) is selected, what would the T.V. screen show?

This might be wishful thinking but I got an idea, do something similar with Sans and Cuphead by including songs from Final Fantasy VII and Persona 1, 2, and Eternal Punishment if you buy a Tifa (Barret or Sephiroth) costume and Naoya and Tatsuya costume.

I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but the original music from these games needs to be in as well. I want to fight to DnB and Dubstep crossed over with Jazz.

The fact Life Will Change's Instrumental was featured in Joker's trailer but not actually used in-game is an actual crime.

There's also two unused Persona 5 tracks in the game's files. Namely, Beneath the Mask and Aria of the Soul. I can see why they were cut out of My Music as they're pretty unfitting; perhaps they were used for testing before the remixes were done?
