ive talked about thus subject numerous times with my cousins,and we all agree(well,one doesnt 
) but the subject is that in brawl,they are focusing too much on the litle things,like mario's jeens!!!!and im not saying that they shouldnt be updated,but still,when i looked at the item in this update it brought me back to the thought,so anyone agree?

Im talking about how detailed it is,i mean,they odnt haveto make it look so very real,it kinda annoys me i guess that they just put detail into the tiny things,and not most of the big things.

You say that like it's bad. That's good. Detail buddy DETAIL! That is why Brawl is going to be such a great game. Sakurai is making sure that everything is perfect. Even Mario Jeans. And Lip stick. And i'm sure they're putting plenty of work into the big things.
Probaly just run into them and knock them over, making the item drop out of their hands. But that would be so funny if he ate you too.

A thought occured to me. What if, Munchlax gains the properties of the item he swallows? Think of a Marill-esque effect, that as he continues walking he repeatedly damages the player he hits, but with the item's effect that he swallowed. So for example he swallowed Lip's stick, then the player he walks into gets the Lstick's damage effect! Complete with sound effect on hit, flower hat, and dmg over time 
If it's not a weapon item, then maybe he just gets the item's effect on him, say he turns invulnerable with the star or metal with the metal box, or giant/small with the corresponding mushroom. But, he just does normal weak damage repeatedly just as Marill did. As he walks along, he just swaps new properties on whatever new item he eats. And uhm if he swallowed a pokeball...uh well....I guess it's still a half baked idea >.>
This would be very clever on the devs part though.

I have a few theories on Muchlax:
He will push characters around a little at first while he's just starting out. He can be beat up relatively easily and kicked off, or if he can't find any items after a short period of time he'll give up and disappear.

No I don't think anybody has mentioned that yet. Really cool idea though. I could really see cool possibilities with this. But of course it wouldn't work for some items like pokeballs, guns, well maybe guns, and ATs. Other than that cool. Love to see him eat superspicy curry or what about the banana peel. Don't make any absolute statements like that. Sakurai's updates are random to us and to predict a pattern would be a waste of time. Oh, and if Munchlax did get the ability of the item he ate, they would have told us he does.
Whoever said the comment about the home run bat earlier, I agree. Munchlax can't be used strategically, but by random coincidence he will affect the course of the battle. If you're like 'aww yeah it's about to go down, im gonna win, im about to grab a hammer youre dead' and all of a sudden Munchlax eats it and your opponent lays the smackdown on you, they'll be thanking their luck.

A pretty boring update, I just kind of yawned and went to sleep without thinking twice about it. It has me hopeful that they're getting the boring updates out of the way first so we can have a TOTALLY EPIC FOMG WEEK.

I thought this update was dissappointing. All he does is walk around and eat items. Then he goes away. Now that I think about it, it's a little funny. It's like when you summon an assist trophy and expect something epic, but you get Munchlux, which makes the situation anticlimatic.

I saw someone on a diffrent forum trying to argue that Metaknight may have been demoted from playable character because the lack of a profile. This was about two days before the profile update finally went up, ironically.

Anyways, this update isn't really much of anything to me. Munchlax was not a character I really cared for to be playable. (The only Pokemon I ever wanted playable was Cubone. -_-) However it's nice to see a Pokeball again, and deconfirmations are always nice.
