My personal pick for a Midway character in MultiVersus would be the Knight and Ostrich or Tapper. Heck, I would also want something from Rampage even since that’s on my top 5 favorite Midway games.

I'm just gonna come right out and say my thoughts: Multiversus' currently revealed roster is boring as hell. Too much DC, an OC, all the CN focus is on new and not legacy stuff, SU doesn't need two characters on a cramped roster, and only Bugs for Looney Tunes is weird.

If I were picking the current lineup revealed, I think i would've made it more interesting with these picks.

4. Batman
5. Wonder Woman
6. Samurai Jack
7. Ben 10
8. Finn & Jake (as one swapping character)

I'm like you. In some defense of the game tho, Daffy is seemly being treated like Luigi and will see a later reveal. Superman and Tom & Jerry does absolutely nothing for me. The hype of the game really stems from what the roster potential for newcomers. I'm positive we will see more classic Cartoon Cartoon/Network representation going onwards, Samurai Jack, etc.

I'm hoping for OG Teen Titans representation since its the more intriguing side of DC as far as my opinion. Adult DC is stale.

Alright, I built a roster I think would be about the perfect dream starting roster for the game. I tried to balance it into 3 or 4 characters per "category," with the categories being "Looney Tunes," "DC Comics," "Legacy CN," "Modern CN," "Hannah-Barbera," "Adult Swim," "Live-Action Films," and "Miscellaneous." Due to the presumed higher budget I went with a slightly larger roster than NASB. Note this is not a prediction, just how I would improve/modify the current revealed roster and who I'd add to the starting lineup.

If you count Ben's aliens as seperate then it's also even. Also those two are kinda inseparable to my idk it feels weird to not have them be a duo, and inivision them being a swapping character anyway so shrug

Harry I feel could be a good supporter being that his spells would be a sniper style and that he could have some spells that heal/repair stuff

I don't think Reindog is added because they had a hard time with support characters. It's more likely that they were going to add an original character anyway, which is not rare at all for crossover games, and they just made him fit into a class that doesn't have many characters in the beginning roster.

Keep in mind that tanks also only have one character so far.

With that out of the way, I think there's a good amount of potential when it comes to supporting characters, like Raven from Teen Titans, Maxwell from Scribblenauts, Chowder, or Looney Tunes' Granny.

Not really. Finn and Jake have been separate in things before including the show. They massively benefit from being separate as their unique abilities can shine. Jake wouldn't get to fully use his stretching powers if he was slapped with Finn.

It's a tag team game that is built around having characters be separated. This doesn't have gameplay like Smash, so there's no reason the roster should be beholden to Smash rules.

TOM mains anyone?
Because in Multiversus, I would main TOM from Toonami.
He could have Playstyle similar to Megaman and Samus, which it would focus on Projectiles or Ranged Attacks.
