I miss that All-Star rest area, it was my favorite. When I first got the game, I'd just turn it on, go there, and read or something. Much peaceful.

The music originally came from the Snes version of Kirby SuperStar which was made by Hal.

Melee was also made by Hal, so they used the track for Melee.

That song was in the original Kirby Super Star too. It shouldn't be very surprising that Smash borrowed that song for Melee's All-Star rest area.

My Kirby knowledge is very limited, having only played Kirby's DreamLand 2 as a kid. Good to know, thanks for clearing that up. I still like the song nonetheless.

Well, Smash is a celebration of Nintendo, and it's not like all the music in smash wasn't a remix anyway. I'm disappointed that Smash 4 didn't have any remixes of the new kirby games, or the (preferably vanilla) Donkey Konga theme.

Aside from the music, I also really liked the scenery for the All-Star rest area. Being very aesthetic-minded, it just reminds me of calm, bright summer days during school when I didn't have to worry about a job. I miss having a lot of free time, sometimes.
