Yeah, they made the law because some instances women pay guys to beat them so they miscarriage.....but this covers ALL miscarriages.

First banning the dictionary from schools in parts of Cali....now this. What is this country coming to?

Wow paying someone to beat you til you miscarriage, unbelievable.

How would the authorities distinguish which miscarriages are legit and not.

This reminds me of a law here in Florida:

It is illegal to have doors that open inwards... which would explain why every door I see opens out...

Yeah, took awhile to find the link since it's been awhile.

They also banned various classics like The Diary of Anne Frank, all of the Dr Seuss collection, The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter 1-7, Fahrenheit 451, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Harriet the Spy and more, the full list from Amazon is here:

Things like this make me NOT proud to be an America. All countries have their stupid laws but ours is by far the WORST.

Why not just ban words completely? From now on, everyone who mentions sex, porn, ****, alcohol or drugs will be dragged out in the streets and shot.

Also I heard there is also a law in some state in the west that forbids womens...toys.
Not really sure if thats a good thing. Would it be?

And just bringing it out there, but I think there's a thread about stupid laws already made.

Though I assume its dead...

i read the link first lol. I have no problem with 8th graders reading that stuff... I don't get it. although i gotta say i'm not surprised; the PC movement has been doing stuff like this for a long time now.

*Waves good-bye at the 1st amendment as it goes down the toilet.*

also anyone heard about a school in washington forbidding little girls to dress as witches for halloween because a member of the local wicca chapter was offended by the stereotype? that's a hoot too i gotta go find it.

EDIT: found it. =D

This is just ****ing ridiculous. Isn't the whole point of free speech about presenting controversial ideas? None of those books are even THAT bad (the only 2 I can think of are F-151 and Huck, which is for the n word I believe).

I just lost all hope for America's future.

This is madness!
No... THIS. IS. AMERICAAAAAA!

What the hell's wrong with lawmakers? I can see why a lawmaker might make a law banning something like gay marriage, but making a law saying books like catcher in the rye, harry potter, tom sawyer, etc are banned is just ****ing ********. If I'm not mistaken, Catcher in the Rye is required reading in high school, so what's the point in banning it? I swear, some of these lawmakers need to get shot in the head. Just saying.

Why do people just accept this kinda stuff?

I mean the whole world is eventually just going to be a giant prison full of people who just conform and accept everything their precious government say.

Ok I'm gonna stop I'm getting myself angry at the world.......again.

How is that even remotely possible? That's like saying I'm going to prohibit people from breathing within museums.

Well when you see laws like "All residents may be fined as a result of not owning a boat", "If there are more than 5 Native Americans on your property you may shoot them", "Horses are forbidden to eat fire hydrants." and "The penalty for jumping off a building is death". This doesn't seem that hard to see . That doesn't stop them from being illogical though.
