I would change the lastly thing to metaknight, snake, or DDD. Cause I think DDD's just as good as those 2.

Edit : If you don't' change it and m2k goes i'll probably take you up on that. And if you do change it i'll also take those bets with anyone. xD

It doesn't cost to rent, but we have other expenses to get everything going. It's 2 god****ed dollars, just pay it, or don't come.

This one seems slightly better then the other Jersey tourney. The one in Turnersville just...well, the director seems like a douche.

I can't believe you guys play with Hannenbow...just because DDD can't chaingrab right? -_-
Everything seems to come down to the fat man with you people.
And Norfair is banned??? Wtf.
I'll still go no matter what stages you have on, but those two upset me.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this.

I think Hannenbow should be banned, but I don't care. Norfair is terrible.

lol @ people whining about 2 dollars

If you can't pay 2 dollars, you're too poor to attend tournaments.

If M2K goes, I'll bet that Snake or MK doesn't win.

Kashif, if you're not going, let me know so I can find a partner.

im not exactly whining about 2 dollars, but like, if theres nothing that costs money, dont charge money. inui's tourneys didn't have entrance fees b4, and its the same thing. no other tournies have venue fees unless they actually need em if theyr at like a public place like a gaming center. sure $2 isn't much, but its an easy way for u guys to pocket $80... atleast let ppl with setups get in for free

You realize that it takes about two hours to set up the room, and then a little over an hour to take it all down, right? We also have to go to random rooms and get TVs from them, and some of them are bolted down, so we have to work even more to get them. The crew then uses its own Wiis and lets people play on them all day. One of the TVs is my dad's and it's expensive. We then run the tournament for everyone, using a crew member's laptop. This is what the house fee is for. Split between the crew, we each end up getting almost nothing anyways for all the work required. My dad actually won't even let me use the venue unless I show him we make some sort of profit, and about $10 per crew member is nothing. Directors almost always take some sort of cut in order to make a small profit from all the work put into hosting a tournament or in order to pay for stuff to make the next one better like KotC did...except they took HALF THE POT! We don't take from the pot at all. I don't care if it's against your personal morals for tournament directors to make some sort of profit. If that's the case, then never go to a game store, KotC, MLG, EVO, or anything else not hosted by the few people that share your point of view. It's against MY morals for someone to put all that work into a tournament and receive nothing in return.

If we need a set-up and you provide it, you can have your house fee waved. That's only if we need it.

I think Chibo finds it unethical because he probably didn't take any $ out of the pot for his tournaments and Scar paid out of his pocket to bribe the cop to let us stay there longer at SPOC 3. I also think it's unethical to take money for personal profit. Saying that you get nothing if you run a tournament and don't make a personal profit is nonsense. That's as ludicrous as saying if you enter a tournament and don't place high enough to win money you gained nothing by entering. Well, that actually happens to be true for Brawl tournaments because Brawl is a ****ty game and if you didn't make money entering you should be upset because you endured boring camping and tripping and didn't get anything out of it.

Well IF Brawl was an actual fun game, then you could say that it's fair that the tournament directors and the players who don't win any money get something out of it. But I guess no one wants to torture themselves by running a tournament for an awful game or entering a tournament for an awful game and getting nothing out of it.

I'd also like to add in that my crew has to drive 40 minutes to and from me, so anything they make goes back into their gas tank anyways. Nobody should lose money from hosting a tournament just because someone else was foolish enough to allow that to happen to them.

It's unethical to take money for profit? Sorry, but Communism didn't work out.

End of discussion about the house fee. It's very small, and we do have actual expenses to cover.

Are you going to attend this, Kashif? If not, let me know so I can find a partner.

Um...2 bucks is more than fine. I'm used to 10 dollar fees or half the pot being taken away. I really don't see how people can complain.

While Spam was at that Pittsburgh Melee tournament, Brawl cheated on him so he broke up with her and now bashes her name.

I'll be coming to this.

They had the fee last time and there was no problem. I would only disagree with it cause I have to receive ******** amounts of change back because the amount to pay isn't a multiple of $5 anymore. So basically I'm fine with it.

Do crew members have to pay to enter singles and doubles? Is there a discounted price for them?
We paid to enter doubles and got discounted for singles.

Why do you care so much?

If I don't show my dad a profit, he will not let me use the venue. It's why he stopped letting me do Melee tournies back in the day. I wasn't making any money off of it. Pardon the crew for wanting to make ~$10 each off of an entire day of work.
