Remember that the people being voted on have to be people who go to weeklies, play in tournament/casuals, and stuff like that. Melee is included too just like you guys have been doing already. Hence the title everyone. Also, don't make this a popularity contest and make it a real awards thing. I know the people being voted on is everyone's opinion but I'm definitely seeing favoritism and people voting on people they like and/or cool with and stuff like that. I could give a prime example.
