i'd literally pay 100 dollars or more to see that match or just to have it happen and see a video later.

Yeah thats a pretty bad drive, but I'm pretty sure there will be guys from merced going. if they have an extra seat, maybe you could drive to merced and get them to take you the rest of the way. Everything, merced plays everything. Modesto plays high / top tiers, well whatever is left from Modesto.

Anyways school starts tomorrow.....**** this ****, really? I knew I was getting gimped, but it feels so harsh. Two less weeks of summer vacation, not cool man. actually more like 2 and a half less weeks.

When do you guys go back to school? Nick and so on. One last year of high school for me and well who knows what. Not really looking forward to anything right now haha....

It kind of got all ***ged up when I started playing. I remember Nick, Spenser, etc still played their old mains. The change started before I started playing, but it became more apparent this last year I think.

I think we should all play jigglypuff, and then ICs as a soft counter for jigglypuff. the metagame

keith it'll be like 1 year before i'm sure that i'll be moving out of my current apartment (and into the apartment that we would live together)

i applied at like 3 target stores today and gonna apply at a few walmarts later

and my application at best buy is still pending

So what's up with Modesto? What characters can I expect to play against?

The players who got top 3 last tournament used ganon, dk, and ganon LOL. We've also got 2 ICs mains, 2 peach players, a marth or 2, a fox, a puff/zelda (which is me haha), a link, a falcon, a samus, a yoshi/falco player who shows up every 6 months to say hi, and a sheik/kirby. That's not everyone obviously, but it pretty much shows that there's a really wide range of characters used at the modesto tournaments

Man I am low tier in the metagame of getting sick. I'm always sick fffffff

I want to play Andre, would be nice if Jr hadn't gone to SoCal so I could learn some more from him

I also learn a lot when I play Andre, but I have to figure it out on my own.

I keep getting ***** by anyone's falco, and I need to change it up a bit.

Edit: I finally got around to getting a melee set-up at school, a year late. That's the first thing I heard about at school today in bio. I just have to bring in my copy of melee since it's a plain cube with no games.

haha Spenser. Touhou, eh. That aint DoDonpachi. I have lost about $10 playing that game because it's pretty difficult and I am not so smooth at spamming the fire button while I am using the arcade stick to maneuver around.

I'm hoping the next time Brandon shows up in Modesto, I won't be the only one left.
