What I think happened.

Glyph and TB tried to kill whoever it was John protected (Chibo was it?)

Chibo survived.

They, not knowing John's the doctor, devise a plan to find who the doctor is. Their plan is pretend that Glyph is the doc. Obviously claiming doc is bad with nothing to back you up, but pretending that you're hiding something for the good of the town (AKA not answering my question) will make it seem more like you're doc.

TB, who usually grills people, uncharactiristically avoids putting pressure on Glyph.

Glyph says lynch me just because I questioned his sudden change of heart.

John reveals he's actually the doctor.

Glyph, knowing that his refusal to answer my question gives him that little bit more chance of looking like the real doc, says lynch John.

Chibo throws a curveball and reveals he investigated John and he's town.

Glyph tries to discredit Chibo badly, but doesn't really have an argument, so he just asks for us to vote John no questions asked, and laughs when questioned more.

What on EARTH would we waste our time on Chibo for?! He was an inactive who would have been a lovely target to let sit til endgame.

And why, pray tell, would we out our entire team but posting a doc claim knowing it could be CC'd so easily? John I can see doing it, but someone who knows about mafia? Not on your life.

Okay, lets break this down a little bit.

Say we lynch John today and he flips scum. We then know:
Chibo is lying
Glyph is doc
T-Block is confirmed town

A strong connection for the final scum and two confirmed town players, not bad.

If John flips doc, then we know:
Glyph is scum
Chibo is null (protecting a townie=/=being townie)

And that's about it as far as connections go there. Regardless of the flip, we get a great indication as to who is going to be scum as the game goes on.

I don't see any reason not to.

So lets expand for Chibo, and look at what we get from a Glyph lynch.

Town Glyph:
-T-block confirmed town
-john scum, and therefore Chibo scum. If Chibo flips town, then Pluvia is next

Scum Glyph:
-John is cleared
That's it. You get John. Have fun with that.

How is it easy to prove you're not doc? If it wasn't for Chibo revelation and your bad play against me we'd only have you and John's word to go on.

And why would Chibo not make a good target? What is it about Chibo that'd make him less of a target compared to me, John, Guus and Joey?

Pluvia is not that you questioned me, its what you questioned me on and the persistence you showed following it up. I feel like you're just mad about me calling you scum and now you want to see me dead as retribution for it instead of actual stuff that's happened in the game.

Pluvia, I didn't question glyph because he was clearly up to something, and I has no reason to hinder his plans. By allowing him to do his thing, I potentially gain reads on other players, but more importantly, gain a read on glyph, someone who replaced into an inactive slot and I know is competent as scum, so that info is important.

With the way things have turned out,I really don't care about reading glyph right now. John has been a lynch pick of mine for a while now, and his lynch will determine glyph's alignment so that's all I need for today

And of course I'm going to be persistent. I saw a complete change of heart, and the guy who didn't trust you and who usually grills people telling me not to question you. I'm not just gonna sit there and agree with you without getting answers. All you did was wait until I questioned you enough for you to try and make it look bad against me, then yoy tried pulling the doc gambit knowing it'd work but you got scuppered by Chibo revealing his role.

And TB, how can you say after all of this that John looks more scum than Glyph? If we lynch John then we know Glyph's role, but if we lynch Glyph then we know John's role

And if you look at my play, you can see exactly why I had a change of heart. That actually lines up with my night actions, while targeting Chibo as the doc... not so much.

And the Vinyl thing. As much as I don't like him I did honestly think he was bad scum, whereas you said you knew he was town yet you didn't change your vote.

You said the reasoning behind it was scum could kill him easier later, but for that to work you'd have to be "team" killing using the logic "Well if we don't do it then they will".

While I can see where you're coming from, that makes less sense than not killing him. Plus you said you knew he was town, so by killing him you're cutting your numbers and still running the risk of being killed at night, so killing Vinyl is detrimental to town but great for scum.

You see you wanted to kill him, and not look for scum, meaning you weren't scared of the night phase, and lo behold you're still here and so was yout target and now your gambit that you tried to construct is falling apart.

Yeah the more I think about this the more it all makes sense.

I stated that I knew the basic "Doc protects people", but upon receiving the role I wanted to read up on specifically that, and get as much info on it as I could.

And honestly I do not know what a Godfather is, it has not been in any of my games.
