Event - MLG Anaheim 2014 MLG Regional/State Crew Battles

I have not been to an MLG, but I plan to go to MLG Raleigh. I have a couple questions. Why have I not heard any talk of regional/state crew battles? I've been hearing that MLG has thrown some of the best tournaments the Brawl community has ever been to! Why not have crew battles pitted against talented regions? I don't know how the schedule works out from paper to actuality, so there may not be time during MLG to have one.

If we do get the chance to have crew battles, I'm sure the community would want to see newly hyped regions like "FL vs So-Cal" or "FL vs NY/NJ." There are many combinations that the smash community and I would like to see. Let's make this happen ;)

For one, MLG runs a pretty strict schedule, so I don't know if they'd be able to fit it in during tourney, as well as not all of the top players from each region being able to attend. However, in the past, they've done East vs. West during the final event. They may decide to do that again.

2. Florida
3. Socal

That's how I think it would end up. Hehe

At the champs there will likely be a east vs west crew battle. This is not confirmed yet.

It would also be possible for the players themselves to organize a crew battle on the free play stations. There would be more then enough time. However if this occurs players cannot hold up their tournament match for a crew battle match.

Nah, TX/FL..well south as a whole will easily beat any other region :). FL/TX are too stacked even without throwing in people like reflex etc.

Because, y'know, in a crew battle you get 3 stocks every match.

Also, Nick Riddle didn't beat Ally in a set or anything.

Again, Gnes didn't go 2-1 with Ally in Losers bracket (Lost because of continuation set)

Well candy if we do 15 v 15 that "might" make room for ed or kyon and you know what that means..

yeah we are trying to. our cfl car that went down broke down about 40 mins into the drive and had to come back :(

we are definately gonna come down and get as many as we can for ur next one. we are trying to get down there so its equal when u guys come up here.

yo i know!! hrnut is the hardest person to get to come play cuz he works and goes to school EVERYDAY. we can try to get halberd to come too with tampa. i wanna get 2 cfl cars and a tampa car next time.
