Well when someone says in the history of MLG, meaning in the history of an organization, I'm thinking they mean the whole organization not just Smash. Otherwise why not just say for the first time in THIS game... Either that or he just wanted to put himself on a bigger podium, which would be ironic if that was the case, since getting your own personal interview with MLG should be a big enough podium for anyone.
