I hope so. It seems like everyone in the US complained about Unity at one point but still continued to attend events with said ruleset.

I also have problems with this.
As in, I like to learn my character by reading and trying stuff later (first against CPUs, then against people), but aside from MetaKnight, there is no other character I'm really interesed into, so I get bored quickly and try other stuff instead.
Also, most of the other character boards doesn't even have guides or visible frame data (some of them only have "how DDD/Pikachu Ghaingrab our character").

So, without people to **** me and my character and me trying to figure why I lost and trying learn from that, I have basically no way to improve with whatever new character I pick.


EDIT:@Ralph, I think period for experimental rulesets will end in january as well.... I have to check.

RE-Edit: "The Experimental Unity Ruleset System will be active until December 31st, 2011. We will then take a short break of 1-2 months to analyze all data and make any potential changes, then re-open Experimental Rulesets to everyone after a month or two."

But Snake can't be tested properly against CPUs, he's about mindgaming and being creative with nades... which means experience... I lack of granade experience...

Seems like you could ask around the Marth boards for that too though. A lot of them seem pretty knowledgabe and the few I've played can recite a lot of the frame data and frame traps by heart.

Marth boards are just really lazy and a lot of the stuff is unorganized. Though people have started to do some things lately.

Being honest, Marth and Zero Suit Samus have always been two of the characters I've been most interested in.

I originally wanted another character with good and/or fast aerial options not named Luigi (cuz he sucks) or Wario (cuz he's lame), but there aren't many...

are in the midst of a great renaissance, and our guides are being rewritten.
