I'm totally dubbing this the "Kitacide."
Edit: Also, I just realized what happened. Meta Knight has this "box" while he's doing his Uthrow. This "box" is what allows him to be blown by GnW Uair while doing Uthrow, as well as what allows him to do his uthrow when no platform is present (such as on Smashville or Frigate Orpheon). Meta Knight also has a property where he cannot go through solid roofs while doing uthrow (most easily visible on Luigi's Mansion and Spear Pillar), but apparently he still has to go down the same distance if there is no floor. This obviously explains why the Hyrule Temple suicide works and why this happened, because if you continue watching, you see that there's a yellow block formation high above where I "suicided." In other words, the blocks stopped his ascent early and forced him to release his victim farther downwards from where he started, if that makes any sense.
In other words, MK is supergay, this is super situational, this will most likely work on the pendulum platform (Due to the presence of another set of yellow blocks and absent platforms) as well if timed perfectly (can't test this right now), and Rainbow Cruise is super duper gay when fighting Meta Knight or Kirby.
And ****, I think I just got one of my favorite stages banned from this discovery.
I'm still calling this the "Kitacide" because I'm awesome.
Also, I'm starting to wonder if this will work during the stageflip on Frigate Orpheon as well, as during the "flips,", it is possible to interact with both platforms at once.
