New mechanic confirmed! Characters get homesick when they haven't been on their stage for awhile. When homesick they get depressed and fight at 3/4th of their normal speed. Character's also become 1.25x their normal speed when on their own stages. This is likely an attempt to prevent Final Destination and Battlefield being the only stage people pick.
