Wouldn't be opposed to a retro style Samus appearing in such a game as an obscure guest character.I think Palutena's centurions should appear for her final smash but instead of just them the Centurion knights should also appear to truly reflect the strength of her army.
BTW did someone say they wanted a KI fighter?

After all, Kid Icarus, Legend of Zelda and Metroid were born triplets with different fashion sense and personalities, but you can always trace some similarities to each other.

I dunno, I feel like summoning a Centurion that lingers in the air before lunging, on its own as a single input, would be a very useful defensive and offensive setup move. It wouldn't be anything like Waddle Dee Toss, and I feel like it'd flow really well with the defensive ideas we have for her moveset. That plus a homing light ball could really make her a capable projectile character.

Smash 5 should have Hades, Viridi, Grima from Fire Emblem, and Dungeon Man from Earthbound. Ridley would be too small to be playable.

The girl even have her own theme!I didn't notice the leak pictures being referenced in the BitF comic until I looked at it again, that really is very clever. I love that comic, and glad to know that the leak is spreading. I really hope we see Palutena confirmation soon, having to wait for a while to hear it will make it hard to handle.
And Kid Icarus would make a pretty fun fighter. I'd totally main Arlon though (after Palutena).

I could have sworn somebody on Neoseeker said they were going to tweet the pictures of Palutena to Sakurai, but I don't know if that person went through with it.
Regardless, I am almost certain firstly, that it's real, secondly, that Sakurai knows about it. I'm sure it's been mentioned on Miiverse, and if at least one person who knows of Palutena being in Smash sees that, then I'm sure word would travel fast among the workers, and ultimately the director, Sakurai himself.
Not to mention, there has to be some sort of research done to see what fans are talking about while the game is in development, so I doubt none of the workers would see it.
Basically, Sakurai has to know at this point. It's been almost a week.

I am in Support of Palutena. Although I haven't played Kid Ikarus aside from the demo in SSBB. From what I have heard it seems that she could be a very fun character to play as! Sakurai making the new game has got to count for something right? Well I hope so anyway.

She'd probably have almost if not more fanart than Rosalina. Remember Palutena's popular in Japan, and add that with Pixiv, DeviantArt, and other stuff I probably forgotten, and she'll be all over the place. Speaking of, once she's revealed, I'm gonna check Pixiv periodically to see how fast and how much art of her (and Pit) appears. I do expect at least one pic along the lines of "Congrats Parutena" for congratulating Palutena on her reveal.

It's true, but I too try to avoid it. I just want to see Palutena in all her amazing elegance and epicness... including more of "Pit's face between Palutena's (and other ladies of choice) godly bosom" kinda thing. *insert blushing here*

Fanart talk, eh? This reminded me of finding rather hot piece of Lyndis-fanart (and mostly these surprise me because I find Lyn too sweet even think of her sex appeal. (-´^`-); )

It's a general problem with female characters in general, though it becomes a few levels more distrubing as most of the characters in KI have appearances of non-legal age group.

Sure Palutena will get more fanart, but Rosalina is a Mario character that originated from the monster that is Galaxy, I doubt she'll ever reach that amount of fans simply because she's from a more "underground" franchise. Surely Kid Icarus will become quite a bit more popular though.

Hot Spring Palutena in that anime short, we never will forget. <3 Even then, have you seen those thighs? Both that and her and hips are huge. Maybe Peach's B-throw with the hip bump should be for Palutena instead... to do to Pit to make him blush (yep, I had to).
Tbh, if someone makes fanart of Palutena doing Peach's B-throw on a blushing and embarrassed Pit while winking at him, I'd smile and consider it hilarious. I must request such a thing.
Understandable, but can't deny that popularity and fanart for Palutena will skyrocket when she gets confirmed. Same for any character really, but I know Palutena would be a major one. Of course, I'll be on dA and Pixiv to see how well it goes when that time comes.

Can this be Palutena's Final Smash? (linking because I'm not sure what constitutes as "too far" here. She's nude, but you can't see anything. And her being nude is not what I want to be her Final Smash. Uprising players probably get it)

Her final smash would probably be her Glam Blaster in my opinion. Though, she could inherit Pit's. The glasses were a joke in Uprising and would fit better as a taunt (which she should have).
