Palutena is a goddess she can literally do what she wants, who's going to stop her? Zelda? She can't even do anything without THREE entire goddesses.
Which uses the powers of those goddesses like it's nothing.

okay now I'm done

Well if Kirby swallows pally then kirby becomes a goddess as well
Come to think of it, Kirby killed Buu in a death battle. :3 I now starting to question just how strong Kirby is. JK........but not really kinda serious.

I'll probably end up lurking, but I might stick around here, just because I do main Palutana as well.

someone just said take page 200, that was my only plan

Edit:
She's pretty conservative considering she's loosely based off greek goddesses and mythology where they're known for just casually letting their nips hang and they're dongles dangle for all to see.

sources: I still see these statues everywhere
It's not about what you wear it's about how you show off

K, we'll probably still be here, discussing Heavenly light or something. Also don't mess with tuna, if we get a taste for Zelda mains we may build breathing apparatus and attack the surface.

Also machiatto I am at work for another three hours, after I have to get dinner then I'll pm you about maybe playing some. I hope it can be an enLIGHTening experience for you.

I agree, I feel like I play far more poorly online than I do with friends. I have a greater than 60% winrate when I'm playing with my friends, but I do absolutely terrible online. Evidently, my friend says he does great online...

Maybe we just have to adjust to the microdelay?
No, you're not alone - certain characters benefit greatly from lag, while others do not. A character like Palutena, for example, has a lot of short but strong hitboxes, but lag can severely mess up timing due to the pauses or generally awful input malfunctions.

However, I do find that sometimes predicting is actually a bit easier with lag :awesome: my up smash punishes and my grab combo's are a lot more successful than expected (although I have to adjust my Down Grab follow ups so that I run UNDER my opponents and then jump, usually, but it just depends on the lag).

Code lyoko. :p

The GIFs are from the sequel "Code Lyoko: Evolution" but the first 4 seasons are way better IMO.

Really? I loved evolution. Yumi was always my favorite
I felt like while I could get used to live acting for the 'irl' portions, it was still weird because the first 4 seasons were cartoon. Just my preference there I suppose.

Also, they really disrespected and did away with many of Lyoko's core designs, (Attack functions, many un-real HP one shots, tarantulas shooting from their EYES!? etc.) This sort of thing wouldn't just HAPPEN to a supercalculator's programs just for being shut off for a year. They also just went totally "NOPE" to two of the sectors! rip forest and ice sectors.

I thought the novels continuing the story sounded way more interesting than evolution. It was neat regardless to see more code lyoko. Shame it totally isn't returning again...

Edit : Also, while I loved yumi, she was such a redshirt and almost always got killed first, and in the most embarrassing ways.

Do you mean subtitles and/or dubs? I haven't found any dubbed versions if that's what you're asking, but I did watch the series with subs a while back. At least you can know what they're saying :p

Also, @ LyonelNoale LyonelNoale I found what I believe to be the channel I was talking about. They have playlists for the 4 seasons in decent quality. https://www.youtube.com/user/TechECoyote2100/playlists
Dubbed, i don't understand why they didn't release it in the US. It was a big hit in the US. Ugh

I can't wait till we see people getting really consistent with this in tournaments. Just goes to show the meta is always evolving.
Forward smash into taunt into up smash into nair into double down smash true combo. It's time to purify the meta.

ugh, I had a terrible time playing Palutena today. My friends Diddy Kong is really good (when he doesn't kill himself with the rocket barrels) and normally I can hold up pretty solid for the first stock but the moment it comes to taking a stock it's impossible to do it safe. I kept rushing headlong into dangerous situation trying to go for an usmash, dthrow uair or any KO move, was way too aggressive and it just hurt me in the long run.

I said a lot about the Diddy Kong match up before but I gotta change some facts, Palu's fair can not beat Diddy's fair, they trade at best and at worst ours is slower than Diddy's fair so it's dangerous to go for it when you're both airborne. I really have trouble approaching Diddy in any way besides reflecting through peanuts and trying to reflect the banana, if I can get a solid dash attack in then I start having some luck but getting that KO hit in is the hardest part, most matches my opponent is well above 150% damage before I get a KO and with Diddy it's so hard to get a good chance for a smash attack.

I'm being a bit irrational with all of this, a bit frustrated with all the losses I had against my friend but I gotta say Diddy is an extremely hard match up. If anyone knows moves Diddy has that are unsafe and punishable I'd love to know, I just can't seem to win in footsies against him.

ugh I feel bad for ranting about Diddy, feels like I forgot how to play Palutena today as well. I'm gonna upload some videos shortly since we got to use a capture card today, hopefully get some help and see where I'm going wrong besides all the smash attacks that I accidentally did.

Wow, it's been a looong time since I've last visited this thread. How's everyone doing? I've been getting decent as Palutena, but I'm still better Lucina, Toon Link, and Sheik. I'm working on it though.

I had that feeling today too. I don't usually have any one to play with but I know it is a bad day when I lose more than one game against the comp and it isn't when I am just trying to play around or practice a certain skill.

On a side note I find killing with Palutena one of the most infuriating parts of playing her. Especially on fast fallers or small characters. I find even the most laggy smash attacks my opponent whiffs aren't easily punished by my smash attacks. Better to usually just grab and try to rar bait them to knock them far enough off stage to gimp with a fair. Its unfortunate because if palutena's smash attacks were just a bit faster she would punish as hard as heavy hitters like ganon.

Ok I'm swearing off online anymore unless it is friendlies. There are just too many times where the lag is just minute enough to screw things over, or at worst render me unable to do anything and make me get hit by attacks I shouldn't. Tonight there were times where I would try and do a quick dash away and instead stood still and took marth fsmashes. Other times rather than grab after a roll or tech I would jab, and I swear it seems like my double jump disappeared a few times. I deduced it must be the slow pace that makes me forget I double jumped or rather than jumping like I thought I did the game makes me run off the ledge then jump and use up my second jump. Either way I am convinced I cannot learn or gain anything in an environment where my moves are constantly thrown off slightly or misread on a character that can't afford to miss moves, even if it is the easiest way to get other human players to play against..
