My role is outside of comprehension. Like Gandalf turned from grey to white, so I have transformed, through metamorphisis, from a lonely caterpillar to a glorious monarch.

I once looked at this game as "Us" vs "Them", but I realized, the real villain here is Gheb. He pits us against each other, looking on at our murders and deception, and he meets it with nothing but a cold, empty grin. Each time we are consumed, he regains his ungodly strength, building up his secret forces, waiting for his new body to materialize.

Do not weep for me. I go to a better place, where I will continue to fight the forces of evil, even if it is by myself.

Whever you see injustice, I will be there to protect. Wherever you hear screams of terror, I will be there to bring courage. I will always be the one standing at the end of a battle, because I have to. Because I AM SLICK WYLDE.

So I guess I'll wait for the announcement.

The WWs most likely wanted to be sure they were hitting a mafia member. If they hit a town member instead, it would be 2T, 1WW, 3M, and that's just no good for the WWs. All the mafia members would have to do to win at that point would be lynch the final WW.

I found it really weird how little @ #HBC | J had to say about @ SlickWylde , considering J is apparently the strongest player in this game, and how evident (imo) the signs of Slick's guilt were. He seemed to ignore accusations made against SlickWylde until @ Orboknown pointed out signs of Slick's guilt that had mostly already been pointed out. I'm also bothered by the fact that Slick seemed to agree with me that J was probably scum, but didn't really have any original ideas on the matter, and MORE IMPORTANTLY, seemed very reluctant to actually lynch him. J was also reluctant to lynch Slick, despite the many rad arguments made against the guy. He waited until Slick was l-1, and probably going to be lynched anyway before he threw his vote down.

no, the newbie thing is basically exactly like I mean. Like I said earlier, we know nothing about ThatSmasher as a player. As I also stated earlier, I got the feeling that he was just trying to seem cool (which maybe he would have succeeded in... had he not been replaced ).

I was also defending him while he was still in the game, because I got the feeling he didn't really know how to defend himself, and wanted to see how he would be in a situation where he could just scum-hunt.

I don't buy that, because in my eyes, J was already shifty as , so that would have looked bad on you, and I think you're experienced enough to know that. AT THE VERY LEAST, J was not heavily town-read at that point.



Like I quite openly admitted earlier, my conquest to lynch J is probably a weakness of mine in a sense, because I will be prone to like anyone who agrees with me about J. I HAVE RECOGNIZED THIS PROBLEM THOUGH, and I'm gonna fight those feelings, don't even worry about it.

And yeah, now that you mention it, I do have something on you. Your reasons for your reads don't always feel legitimate, and sometimes you don't even post these reasons at all. You've been openly posting your reads, but the Rosalina I remember usually had something more to add in all of his posts. Like, you said Spak was starting to feel town for you, but you gave no reason why. Same with your Red Ryu read. If I'm wrong about this let me know, but I also can't recall you posting your reasons for thinking J is town.

oh, and i feel like there are multiple examples of this, but i could be wrong, as i can only think of one on the top of my head, but your accusations often feel illegitimate to me. lemme grab the example i thought of...

I'm not too sure you can say that. Although he has come out to avoid answering your questions, I believe it was with good reason, and that he would have been forced to answer any further questions of yours without being a hypocrite.

I really don't like this. By this point, I would've imagined you would've had strong reads on some people at some point, but mostly you just have weak leans, and your strongest town reads are inactives. To me, that seems... off.

I'm not sure if you were defending him (it was 40-50 pages back, my memory doesn't stretch that far) but if you were, why? I get you were seeing how he would act when not under pressure, but what would that say about him? Wouldn't it have been better to keep him under pressure, and hope he either cracks eventually and slips up, or manages to handle the pressure effectively, giving you a town read of him?

Right, now let's deal with this.
Your observations have been good, in that many of my current reads don't have nearly the evidence to back them up as my earlier reads. Unfortunately, that's just because most of my strongest reads have been turned on their heads, and I've lost my foundations. Slick, my strongest read, who I was willing to take to lylo in D1/2, was just lynched, and he turned out to be a WW. J, my other read, hasn't actually posted anything obviously townie, but he's agreed with me on many things, we've been on the same wavelength, etc. etc. I was good with him. Then he turned out to be ridiculously senior, and I had to deal with him as if he were you in our previous game (i.e. perfect player). Simply coming to the same conclusions as me would be simple for him, and I have limited ideas about his allegiance. tbh, the main reason he's up there in my townie list was because I'd deliberately assumed 4 townies, just so I didn't have to work him out nor risk mislynching our most experienced player.

As for Spak and RR, I think one of Spak's posts made me like him, but it obviously made little impact. And RR... something happened to RR. Basically, my former read list was just everyone who I didn't feel wholly comfortable lynching. After all, it was mylo. You're up there for a similar reason. Your defence made me reconsider your allegiance, and I decided I could actually see you as town. You were still scummy, but I didn't want to risk anything... and boom, you turn from top of my to-lynch list into a townie. I wanted to eliminate any lynch options which had the potential to be wrong (that's why RR and Spak were up there. I could see them as town). Having done that, I voted Koops as filler, in case I couldn't vote tomorrow, and... here we are today.

Also, could you stop with the gifs/pics/songs/jokes. Or just significantly lessen them. They're filling in the thread with clutter.
