It's been a consistent problem for the duo of J + Rosa.

I'm still dumbfounded by the fact that I'm the only one on J, because IMO, he's been nothing but scummy for the entire game.

I'm gonna look at something a little more specific right now though.

@ #HBC | J , you didn't think anyone would notice, but I noticed. You employed a pretty advanced scum technique this game. For lack of a better term, I'll call it the "I'm not scare" gambit. (I hope there's not already a name for this) The I'm not scare gambit is when you boldly accuse someone of doing a scummy action that you yourself have already done, in order to sneakily plant the idea that you are a townie who has no fear of being called out on the scummy action into the minds of the other players.

Let's say I'm playing as scum, and I've been bandwagoning just a little too much. If I've posted enough actual town content, I can try to pull the I'm not scare gambit by calling someone else out on bandwagoning. After I do that, people start to think "oh, he's not afraid of being called out on bandwagoning, so he probably just genuinely agreed with those people"

It's a simple as that, but of course... you're already familiar with this technique.

Especially with your case on Generic, your back and forth push on my slot, and just your insistence of very obscure things like the WIFOM case which "cleared" me and someone else, but now you are saying I still warrant investigation. To me, it looks like you are saying that myself and Orbo need to be looked upon because we are looking at your slot in more detail. That looks OMGUS (Oh-My-God-You-Suck) moreso that you do not even question nor call out Rosa for doing the same thing.

ah yes... OMGUS is the term I'm thinking of. You didn't seem very SCARE(d) to call me out on that one, despite the fact that I had been pressing you before you ever accused me. My first "accusation" against you was actually TWO IN-GAME DAYS AGO.

I actually get extremely BAD vibes from J. I don't think it's fair to judge him by what little he's posted though.

Near the start of the next day, I started pushing J a bit. Over time, as he became more difficult, and I started to get worse and worse vibes from him, my scum lean on him turned into a full on scum read. He claims I had a "back and forth" push on him, but the only "back" was when I said I didn't think he was a WW because of my Kary NK analysis. Not once did I say I didn't think he was scum. At the time, I wanted to focus on lynching WWs, because I considered to be more deadly, which I explained before J accused me of OMGUS. What I'm trying to establish here, is that this accusation, is not genuine. It is, IN FACT, 100% bogus. I'd been consistently pressing J for that entire game. J knew it, I knew it, and everyone who doesn't currently know it is free to re-read that day.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but unless you're setting some kind of trap, there's no reason for a town member to make an accusation that isn't genuine.

J's reasoning was fake, and he accused me only after I accused him. What does that mean exactly?

I've forgotten what your question was, but given everyone's general attitude, I think he may have been right ignoring it. Idk, and if you feel he should have answered it, ask him why he didnt. He gave presumably valid reasons for not answering, now ask some he must answer.

Disproving your lie of Zalak calling me scum before I did. Pg. 27 has these quotes literally one after another. I've brought them up and highlighted some key points.

Currently, I like Generic as a town-lean. I still have some ???'s regarding one or both of TSYK/Koopa. I also have a theory that one of Zalak/Spak could be scum, but I am watching that develop more. Slick and Grim are in the same boat of nothing I super like or super dislike so I'm just calling them null.

RR should talk to me because he's null and would be easier for me to read than anyone in the game.

Anywhos, I am tired and not really coherently expressing my thoughts well but I am keen to just sit back and enjoy the fireworks because I feel a break happening soon in solving the two sides of who is which scum-team.

Well I can see you giving mafia tips as scummy because it seems you are feigning content rather than looking for scum. Especially recently as of earlier. I would also advise on just focusing on playing the game instead of giving mafia tips because that is what the ICs are around to do. However, I am taking the approach of just playing the game and giving a thematic view of how a lot of people play the game and then answer questions as people need them.

So to help you get away from that rail of "advice", who implicitly do you find scummy? Give me your biggest two scum-reads and then give me one person you are not looking at for being on either of the teams.

Generic and ThatSmasher are my biggest scum reads. Not sure what team either of them would be on. I found some very interesting things on Generic during my re-read. I will definitely post more about him before the end of the in-game day. I'll probably do it during real-life tomorrow, cuz I want to give him time to defend himself (and I want time to hear the opinions of others).

AS FOR THE PEOPLE I WANNA INVESTIGATE TODAY:

I'd like to pay more attention to you, because so far, all of your reads/theories have been extremely vague. I'm also concerned about you for another reason, but I can't tell you what it is until I've seen you play a bit more. (I need to know if it's legit before I let my accusation effect your behavior)

So, that was incredibly simple to rectify and prove that I was right. Zalak, you lied about the order of events to try and call me out for OMGUS when you had not mentioned a single word about me (besides inactivity) and you call me out because you have say in this post:

Speaks for itself, but this is when a person uses these three techniques to disprove a slot or knock one slot's Public Rep (PR) down in a way that isn't cited with evidence and mainly just words. It often a useful technique in most regards, but also weak. If you have the charisma to pull this off, it's a great asset! I, personally, do not use nor recommend this avenue, but props can be given to those who can use it.

yes you have. the most relevant example is your OMGUS claim on me. see, that was based on the idea that my push on you had been back and forth, and that I said you had been cleared by my NK analysis, only to push you again after you pushed me. that was clearly not true, as I only said I no longer thought you were likely to be a member of team WW. I said nothing of you not being scum.

(the idea that you first accused me before I accused you is something you thought up just now, and not a part of your original argument. also, as I explained in my last post, it is not true.)

If you're townie as you claim, then that's a slip up. If you're scum, that's you trying to subtly bend reality to your will.

I think Slick's flip could be useful, because everyone seems to have an opinion on that guy, but I'm beginning to fear he might actually be town. Not totally convinced though, and I still feel like he's probably scum.

I would say Orbo is probably scum, just because they don't seem particularly townie, and the impression that ThatSmasher made is still there.
