From my list, I think TheKingOfKoopas is the most guilty. Look back at the first few pages, it looks like he tried to play the "But I'm just a noob" card, and it backfired. When it backfired, he didn't seem to have a good defense.
I'm going to vote for you until I hear a good defense.

Because I was still rusty. I retained information like what FoS meant from the few games I played earlier, but I was still reluctant to do much on a new site, especially after my accusations on Generic ended up being wrong and turned on me.

I know all it seems like I'm doing is posting pointless defenses, I promise I'm gonna get to my reads by rl tonight, tomorrow latest. I have a bunch of professors that are strict about homework.

FUD - F.ear U.ncertainty and D.oubt. Speaks for itself, but this is when a person uses these three techniques to disprove a slot or knock one slot's Public Rep (PR) down in a way that isn't cited with evidence and mainly just words. It often a useful technique in most regards, but also weak. If you have the charisma to pull this off, it's a great asset! I, personally, do not use nor recommend this avenue, but props can be given to those who can use it.

I think Slick's flip could be useful, because everyone seems to have an opinion on that guy, but I'm beginning to fear he might actually be town. Not totally convinced though, and I still feel like he's probably scum.

I would say Orbo is probably scum, just because they don't seem particularly townie, and the impression that ThatSmasher made is still there.


Now he's trying to make me out to be some kind of idiot. My point was it's not good to have a scum alive with so much political power.

Alright, this is grooving with me. I don't agree with you about J, but PoE makes sense at this stage of the game. We share the exact same thoughts about Slick, and I see your point about Spak.

@Orboknown I don't have an awesome defense against that, but it's not true. I have definitely had a few arguments with Zalak, Generic, and RadicalRat. I get that it could look like I was going after easy prey, but I was going after the one I saw with the worst posts. The reason I stopped going after you is twofold: 1. A great player can easily turn a townie into a villain in other people's minds, and 2. I'm also fairly confident about Koopa, so it seems smarter to lynch him, which I'm confident will get us a confirmed scum kill. Going after you would be suicide, whether by day or by night. I'm fairly confident you're scum, but just based off a gut feeling. I think there's more evidence to support Koopa, with his posts.

1. Koopa (Already have my vote on him)
2. Spak
3. Red Ryu

i wouldnt say you went only after easy targets because rad and gen seemed capable of ddfending themselves, i said you wavered a lot on most of your reads in regards to solidifying them one way or the other, a la whenever ypu would post at generic i remember a fair bit of your posts includong some form of "if im wrong correct me/ I'm open to your side of the argument too"

I knew that people would find it suspicious of me (hence Zalak calling me out about it over and over) but I wasn't really worried about that at the time, because I was more busy trying to find someone that I could get a solid read on.

Anyways, I feel like you just have to go back for yourelf and read my posts; Scum can emulate any type of play, so I feel like posting style doesn't really determine scumminess. Content can be valuable (seeing if one person seems to have overconfidence like Slick pointed out or if anyone is hiding behind someone else's content), but can also be emulated unless the scum slips up (which I see as grounds for lynching). If you get a gut feeling from someone that can be legit, but asking someone why they are town seems to be overly-controlling...

Speaking of which, my strongest scum read transitioned over to you for a time in page 39. You appeared to be controlling the pace of the game, and trying to shove pressure onto everyone, even when they didn't do anything sketch, and put three people that are unrelated against each-other in attempts to make a mini-brawl where you could make an escape from the spotlight, having generated a good amount of content.

My strongest scum read now, however, is a tie between Slick and Zalak. My slick reasoning I have already stated earlier in the thread, but I feel as if Zalak pushed you too far for scumhunting intent. A townie would naturally be a bit suspicious because we are already in a REALLY bad spot, but Zalak's subbornness might put us at one person away from out of the running. I'm not willing to trust that as a town action. That said, I don't want to lynch off of a small thing that might have been a simple mistake, but he'd be the one I'm most willing to lynch if it were end-of-day right now.

IN MY DEFENSE, I have this sort of pride problem that prevents me from ending a debate with someone whom I believe is acting superior (SOMETHING I NEED TO WORK ON NOT JUST IN THIS GAME, BUT OUTSIDE OF IT TO). also, I just didn't feel like I'd quite gotten my points across. I STILL DON'T BUT, I'm not sure what I can do about that now. HOWEVER, if anyone is confused about any of my reasoning against J, I'm open to answer questions.
