I agree that the early game can't be ignored. I have no issues with you bringing up that Generic and I were friendly for a time. The problem is that you said "If he's so innocent, why are you acting against him?" as though agreeing with his defense way back when it was relevant meant that I couldn't change my mind as more happens.

Actually, I think the fact that he's been semi-active makes him look WORSE. Scum players need to maintain an active presence, but they also don't always have much to say, because they already know the members of their faction. Speaking from experience, it can be difficult to find ways to add (or pretend to add) to a conversation in a mafia game when you already know everyone's alignment. This game is probably different though, because there are two scum factions.

We do NOT know he's scum. At the moment, I feel confident in saying that he is most likely scum, and he is my #1 lynch target, but we don't have proof that he's scum. We still have time before the deadline, so we might as well use it to discuss other possibilities. Once the deadline comes up, that's when it's time to say "alright, who should we lynch?".

I just feel like if I was agreeing with someone often, and then someone else accused me of corroborating with them, I'd distance myself from them and I'd definitely feel the need to defend myself. Because if they turned out to be scum then I'd be screwed merely by supposed association.

For those curious as to why I'd vote ThatSmasher instead of @ Kaladin after justifying my previous focus on Koopa as wanting to get the most dangerous lynched first:

My read on Gen is dependent on Smasher's exact role. If he comes up Werewolf, Generic is probably the other one. If he comes up Mafioso, Generic would be more of a Town lean to me. That IS just a LEAN however.

Am I the only one who's noticing that Generic is always shifting with whatever the general consensus is? I THINK he might have started the Koopa Kraze, but that was while he was on the chopping block. Ever since then, it's always been "Yes, X is suspicious, good call" with no original input.

Every time I agree with someone, I have something to contribute as well. So have most of the posters so far. Meanwhile, @ Kaladin has been a parrot, EXCEPT when wanting to postpone the accusation of ThatSmasher.

Actually, I said something similar, albeit with a bit different wording, after you decided to go ahead and vote for ThatSmasher. At that point, we seemed to have the same goal.

It's my belief that Generic wants to make it LOOK LIKE we're scum buddies, so he can take a Town down with him when he dies. That explains why he's been switching between following me, and following my opposition. If I get lynched and flip town, that'll make him look bad. If he gets lynched and flips mafia, that'll make it look like his... alternating co-operation... was due to our alignment together. Either way, we both go down.

All things considered, I'm currently going to say that...

@ThatSmasherYouKnow and @ Kaladin are probably on a scum team together. Most likely wolves.

@ SlickWylde is probably on the other scum team.

@ TheKingofKoopas and @#HBC | Kary MIGHT be scum, but I don't know for sure yet.
