Nice to see a new stage revealed.

Lumiose City was a likely choice for the 3DS version. Now, if there's going to be another Pokémon stage on the 3DS version, what would it be?

I think Sakurai should make more of these stages for Wii U. I think every series needs a "Neutral" and "Gimmick" Stage. a neutral stage would be like Final Destination and Battlefield and a Gimmick Stage would be like Pokemon Stadium 2. By doing this not only can both games have basic and easy to play on stages they can also have creative and interesting stages as well.

YES. I am so tired of the boring Stadium stages. I've been sad that the only (Pokemon) city stage we've had in the entire series has been Saffron City in SSB64, which wasn't even brought back in Melee.

I'm not sure how this stage will work, but I'm glad to see a city stage for the first time in a long time.

If I remember rightly, they always announced the next Nintendo Direct the day before they air it. So if we do get a Direct this week, they'll announce it tomorrow (if the direct's on Thursday, for example.)

The 3DS version of the game is worth the 40 dollar double dip for the exclusive stages alone so far.

I expect the Pokémon stages to be at least two per version.
My guesses are Lumiose City and a returning Pokémon Stadium (1 or 2) on 3DS, and Pokémon Stadium 3 and possibly a re-imagined Saffron City on WiiU. And possibly even other stages. Expecting a lot of them to be honest, we're already at 25 (23 basically).

It's probably a flying stage, I assume, a la Delfino Plaza and Skyloft stages.

Looking at how pretty the stage is from a distance, it feels underwhelming if they kept the platform in one fixed spot on the Prism Tower.

A Pokemon character reveal might not be that farfetched with Trozei 2 coming out next week. But we already got Lucario so I'd rather get Yoshi out of the way first.

Lets hope we get to see some Gen 5 Pokemon soon, it feels weird to not see any Pokemon or reps from the Black and White games. Gen 4 and 6 are getting the most attention as of now.

Luminose City seems like one of those stages people wished to get in. Turns out their wishes were granted!

Strange how we can't see the platform layout unless this shoot happens to pan the camera really far out of focus. I don't think we need another cruising stage for both versions. The Wii U has Skyloft and the 3DS has Rainbow Road. Sakurai seems to describe Prism Tower as the focal point. What if this stage is an elevator that scrolls from the base floor of Prism Tower and then down after a few minutes. You could launch characters through the windows at the sides and the floor layout may change at different levels of the building, like the different gym floors for instance.

Tomorrow. They always give at least 20 hours notice before they happen. They're usually announced in the morning (in the US anyways) but the last one wasn't announced until the late afternoon. Pokemon Battle Trozei is coming out in Japan tomorrow though so we might get another Pokemon announcement later.

A character reveal this week seems... likely. And, assuming it happens, it will probably be Yoshi.

Characters are usually revealed in the first or second week of each month and Yoshi's New Island also releases this week, though not in Japan if I recall correctly.

Still, there's always the possibility of said reveal not happening, so it's wise to not take things as granted.

Honestly, I know this is going to get me a lot of flak, but I kinda... don't... want Yoshi to be revealed, if only because I want to see some characters that, frankly, we have 0 idea when they'll be revealed or if they're even in the game at all. Falco, Wolf, Lucas, Ike, Sheik, R.O.B., Jigglypuff, etc.

Yoshi is just soo painfully obvious that it hurts, and I don't doubt that if we get a 2nd vet this month, we've been getting 2 characters per month for awhile now, it'll be the OTHER painfully obvious character, Wario, who should have been shown shortly after the Ashley AT tbh.

I wish we had more reveals like Marth and Lucario's that are completely out of left field. I'm tired of reveals being tied to games and I'll be glad when Yoshi is shown so we can finally be in suspense about who we're getting next.

I DO want to see Jigglypuff. The characters I listed are reveals I'd like to see come out of left field and surprise us, instead of being calendar reveals.

I think 2 characters a month is pretty close for a lock do forget about characters revealed for all no reason (marth and little mac are random reveals mac was revealed for the fun of it at the direct not for the anniversary)

I worry that the next two weeks may be extensive talk about mechanic changes to Yoshi, while, not a bad thing, would make March a one reveal month.

I guess a reveal could come the week after in theory, but it'd be weird... and once next week passes, there'd be no logical reason to show Wario(No anniversaries, no Mario Party JP release, etc). Perhaps after the one obvious reveal, Sakurai will indeed end the month on a random note?

Gaaahh as much as I love Delfino as a stage, I would like less stages that just fly around and visit locations. I prefer stationary ones. It could've been just like Saffron City or something (okay, maybe not JUST like it...)

Diddy Kong was revealed one week after a newcomer (Little Mac). There's no pattern. We could get even three reveals this month for all we know.

Diddy was still revealed to coincide with A release date. If it's not Wario for the Mario Party release in Japan, or just to honor one of the several Wario anniversaries this month(Which I don't believe in anniversary connections outside of the Lucario = Brawl one), then I'm not sure what to expect.

I would argue that Rosalina was the one to advertise Mario Kart, which Iwata even mentioned in the Direct.
