Yep bakudan is japanese for bomb. Also this mode looks extremely fun! I hope we can unlock specials moves from this mode because I see myself playing this a lot.

We've finally getting a disconfirmation on last Monday which was kinda overdue since Rayman trophy and it was a big one! In which it happens to be Takamaru.

Overall, this has been an amazing week. Even with the Takamaru deconfirmation, we got TWO new stages, information on a new item AND a brand new mode.

Been lurking this thread for a few weeks, but I just wanted to point out that it is also true in the Japanese post. Not sure if that'll amount to anything or if I'm just grasping at straws, but from what I can tell, this is the only picture released in recent months with this distinction. Anyway, back to lurking.
